    I've tried so hard to not let myself believe we'd get Kawhi so I wouldn't be disappointed if it didn't happened... but after the expanded trade to open a max contract, AD waiving the trade kicker, and the report of a scheduled meeting with Kawhi all happening the same day... I've finally converted to optimism!

    We all know, CL would be still down after the AD news. Add the fact, that we now have cap space for Kawhi...

    Just wanted to post this before anything goes down on the Kawhi front, either today or tomorrow:

    Obliviously i'll be disappointed and depressed if we don't land him, but I won't be mad at the FO if we don't land Kawhi and are stuck filling the roster with left over role players. We had to wait the moment we had even a sliver of a chance to sign Kawhi. We avoided some really horrible contracts anyways and at the end of the day we still have Bron & AD =)

    Very mature and very true. Yet I‘ll pout and complain like a child if we don’t get Kawhi now, bc by now it feels like we should. At least he shouldnt go to the Clips.

    I’m in Vegas this week, and just checked the odds at the Sports Book on the Lakers winning the Championship next year. Down to 1.5 to 1. That’s the lowest yet.
