When we execute we can beat anyone. I'm so proud how they performed against the Thunder. I won't be surprised if we beat the Warriors Monday.

I don't usually have optimism after a loss, especially after a tough overtime loss against probably my second most hated team and most hated player. That being said, to push this Rockets team to overtime and only lose by 4 without Lebron, Rondo, and Ball, that gives me confidence that with a healthy roster, we are a most dangerous team. Hopefully we get at least Lebron and Rondo back relatively soon and work to make up some ground in the playoff race.

Solid back to back road games against Top Teams with our depleted roster.. Frustrating loss to Houston, but encouraging effort.

This is a summary of what i’d like to see the second half of the season.

Lonzo - Return healthy Mid March, Defensive intensity (we’re going to miss this)
BI - Defensive assignment on oppositions best wing, Offensive decisiveness
    LBJ - Health and Leadership
Kuz - Committment to Defense, better rebounding and shot selection
JaVale - Continued Rim protection and Outlet passing off rebounds
    Rondo - Leadership,Coordination of Offense/Defense
    Svi - More minutes
    Zubac - Defensive footwork
    Beasley - Microwave part II
    Lance - Control
Hart - Hustle, more drives and better shot selection
    KCP - Defensive intensity
    Chandler - Defensive anchor, leadership

Recipe for a deep playoff run ... imo

If we could just stay healthy, what a different team this would be. I read something the last few days, can't find the link but it said we've only had 3-4 games since signing Chandler where the whole team has been available. MY GOODNESS.....

I post this in here because of the potential and like some people have said, we're built as a playoff team. Lord help the team that has to play us in the playoffs (minus GSW) if we're completely healthy and have had a little time to gel.

Count me out on these in-season trade's for Superstars. It's obvious that team's won't deal with the Lakers in good faith. Player A demands a trade to the Lakers, what follows next is the current team and the NBA collectively react by demanding one sided deals that will gut our roster. Folks feel we should take a one-sided deal for AD, and offer as proof that we were burned burned by PG and now potentially by KL. Problem is two superstars take up 80% of the cap that we can now control with our core's talent and team friendly contracts. A gut of the roster will still have 80% of the cap taken up by superstars but we have to add a cast of vagabonds to fill out the roster. This model worked only once that I can recall in recent memory ... LeBron and Kyrie's Cav team (imo only worked because Steph was hurt). Better approach is to develop the core and get a Superstar in Free agency or target a couple of established stars not demanding Max money while tweaking with adjustments to our core as their value increases. Don't know if LeBron is down with this but believe his Legacy would be cemented more with leadership in growing a Championship team instead of trying to instantly manufacture one. I have faith in Magic, Rob and the young core.

I agree with you but neither Magic or Lebron are that patient.

Magic and Rob are likely feeling the pressure from the media, and some fans to get a deal done, but I hope they don't do a deal just for the sake of doing a deal. I do think if the deal doesn't go through ...this ordeal will accelerate the development process for the young core (and Luke). Training wheels are now officially off.

I disagree in that it is AD. AD and Giannis are the two players in this league due to their age that we can't possibly overpay for (unless we include Lebron, which we won't do). If we trade them Ball, Ingram, Zubac, Hart AND Kuzma, we still win that trade. It's the whole argument Jerry Buss used when he was trying to get Kobe to stay with the Lakers after his trade demand. AD is a ten karat diamond. Even if Kuz and Ball end up being 3 karat diamonds each, those two diamonds aren't worth anything close to a 10 karat diamond.
