If I have to choose, Kawhi over LeBron any day. Just can't handle Lebron's fans who believe he's the GOAT and his haters who think he's way too overrated. Combined, they're like half of the global population and we have to deal with that in his decline? Thanks but no thanks.

    Kawhi+PG over LeBron+PG.

Well, yeah. But my scenario is a tad more realistic. :D All it really requires is PG13 to sign here this offseason. Randle to stay here for a contract in the 15 million dollar range, then Kawhi comes next season.

See. Even you. ;) Sensible thinking there and keeping Ingram on the team.

Now that thing with you at the 5 spot .....

Yeah the replacement for Ingram is literally Kawhi. In that scenario we trade Ingram for Kawhi.

I love Ingram and agree he's going to be very good (already pretty good), but Kawhi is Kawhi. Assuming Kawhi passes his physical, he's an MVP caliber player. As is LeBron. George is a great player as well. You keep Ball and you keep Randle AND you get Kawhi, George, and LeBron? I mean Jesus, put the pride aside for a moment. The scenario I laid out is a complete pipe dream and would likely make us the 1st or 2nd best team in the league, keeps Randle and Ball around, but LeBron means it's a bad idea... I just honestly don't understand the logic. We get to build through the draft with two of our guys AND we have three of the best players in the league. Seems like a wonderful dream.

Hey we were talking about dreams, who said anything about realistic?

If we're being realistic, there's no way San Antonio is eager to move Kawhi unless he's hurt and if he's hurt, why would we want him?

Hey, we’re one win away from our entire win total from last season. We could get that tonight. That is improvement, it’s mostly because of our young guy’s growth in Ingram and Randle, and the additions of Ball, Kuzma, and Hart. It’s much less so because we added an “all star” in Lopez or something, so I will take it as a good sign we are starting to climb out of the bottom of this rebuild.

We were 14-27 at the mid way point of the Season back in January.
Since then we have gone 11-7. That's a + .600 win percentage. & that's against some good teams & lineup changes too.
If we can keep that pace up, we will be close to 40 wins for the season. Making the Playoffs is most likely out of the question,
but i would be beyond excited if we finished the Season on that kind of note..

Actually for the optimism side we would have been in the playoffs. If Randle had been handled properly from the start of the season and using Ingram at the point when Zo was out. Last part of that belongs in the WMC thread. No Ennis starts and better rotations.

Going back a few games before the midpoint, we were actually 11-27. So tack on another 3 games at the beginning of this streak and we’ve been pretty good over the last 20+ games.

Cool.. So now there's 22 games left in the Season..
    We're 15-7 over our last 22 games.
Keep up that pace & were at .500 for the Season.. Probably won't get us in the Playoffs, but I don't think anyone will complain about that.

9 players scored in double figures. Was a sloppy 1st half yet we were still up 18. Ends up a blowout, Ingram absolutely took over the 3rd. Everyone contributed though, I can’t even complain about Lopez tonight.

3 players with double-doubles (Julius, Brandon, KCP) with Kuzma 1 rebound shy of one.

Brandon Ingram and Julius Randle have arrived. Behind those two we are in good shape to finish the season strong.

I see your 3 double-doubles and raise you 9 double digit scorers.

We’re now beating teams we should handly. This is the progression we want out of a young team. Chemistry, teamwork, and execution. All positive and only trending upwards.

This season is already a win in my books. The only thing we need to do is the finish the season healthy.

This team has figured out how to win and beat the teams we should beat. Once we have a closer like Lebron/PG etc we will be a definite contender. Future is beautifully bright.
