    We need to focus in what we are doing; and Luke has these guys playing well.

    My goal is 30 plus wins this year as of now. Let's get there and we can figure out what happens in July...

    That's 13-22 for the rest of the season. Barring any injuries, looking like the floor to me. Check that, make it basement.

    @Bulls, @Raptors, @Magic, @Nets, @Thunder, Suns, Thunder, @Mavs, @NO, @Wolves, Mavs, @Kings, @Hawks, @Heat, @Spurs, Blazers, Magic, @Nuggets, Cavs, Nuggets, @Warriors, Heat, @Pacers, @NO, @Grizzlies, @Pistons, Mavs, Bucks, Kings, @Jazz, Spurs, Wolves, Jazz, Rockets, @Clippers

    Bolded are games we should probably win. We might be able to sneak a win here or there against New Orleans, @Miami, and against the Spurs. We could get up to around 17-18 wins the rest of the way if we get/stay healthy and keep the positive momentum going. We could also go on another 9 game losing streak. Hard to tell with this team.

    That 9 game losing streak was horrible. With all the recent winning and still haven't fully recovered yet from it. Be nice they have a 9 game winning streak. Hell a double digit winning streak would be nice. How long has it been? Since Viet effing nam?

    Dang, I just realized I said the above in the Optimism thread.

    Edit: I'm optimistic that Larry understands his game and will make the right decision in the face of pressure to represent the Lakers to not go along with participating in the dunk contest.

    Another day another win. If these guys aren’t careful I’m gonna start expecting these types of wins on a nightly basis lol. For real though, it got a little hairy there for a minute with them consecutive threes from the Bulls, but defense stepped up exactly when it needed to to secure the win. That’s what good team do. They’re definitely on their way.

    Single digits turnovers and making our freebies (free throws) when it counts is a good sign forward. Good team win, and welcome back Tiny Dog

    I think we're starting to click. When we tighten up the D and are hitting free throws, we can be an exciting team. Once Lonzo comes back... who knows. Maybe we can have a nice streak or two and make some noise.

    11-27 to 19-29. Now that's a leap. 2 in the next 3, short term goal.

    We needed this win. Have to beat teams like the Bulls, have to learn to win on the road. Good games from Ingram, Lopez, Randle, and JC off the bench again. Very pleased with this one.

    8-2 in the last 10 games. This is the best stretch of basketball we have had in YEARS. Yes, YEARS.

    Can't remember the last time we actually had a winning stretch like this. Like lifetimes ago

    And Zo has been out for most of it. Should be fun to watch how this team would look like once he comes back. We'd be way much better, that's for sure.

    I know this sounds negative but i never bought the "lack of talent" reasons for losing to teams similar to ours

    Is it unrealistic for us to make the playoffs, or is it still technically possible? I know I know, don’t wanna get my hopes up too high. Just curious if it was remotely possible

    It’s techically possible, but highly unlikely. We are 6 games behind Denver in the loss column for the 8th spot right now. We’d have to go on an absolute tear, and some teams would have to fall way off, like NO and the Clippers.

    Well not to hate on what happened in New Orleans but technically with the injury to boogie it does open up the possibility a lil more. They may free fall, AD is injury proned as well, so they may lose that 8th spot and give it to some other team (praying it's us)
