Defensively played like a pack of wild dogs out there. Switches caused havoc...played the passing lanes. Ball three point shot sighting. Did not panic when the Spurs closed the gap and even lead.

We’re climbing the standings. :D From 2nd worst in the NBA a week ago to 5th with the chance to go up a spot or two if we can beat Dallas and Memphis (and depending on what Chicago, Brooklyn and Phoenix do). That’s what I’m rooting for this season, as few ping pong balls for Boston as possible.

We'd have at least three more wins with health or maybe two to three more with sensible coaching. Patience is a virtue but can be trying...

Fun win tonight. Tenacious D in the fourth, and kept the pressure on. Feels so good to get that three game win streak! Nice to see us win these winnable games. I'm greedy though, I want a couple more.

Props to the Spurs who did not quit and made them work for it. Sure they did not have their big names but it did not faze them...applied the pressure to keep us on our toes. It would have been a downer had we lost in light of the circumstances. San Antonio was not bad like Atlanta, mind you. There were lulls but we kept our composure and forced the issue of a faster pace.

Am optimistic we will show PG a lot better team with Lonzo on the floor and if still all healthy this next game against OKC to make up for that horrible first game. Maybe even beat them .... that would be sweet. Lonzo (no gawdammit spell check how many times are you going to keep changing his name to Gonzo?) .... having a huge game with double digit assists and rebounds and good shooting would seal the deal for Paul perhaps.

& We'd have another 4-5 wins if we could make free throws..
What I'm encouraged by is that our glaring mistakes (Free throws, TOs & 3pt shooting) are all fixable & common flaws in young player's games.

If Roberson is out in our game against OKC, we have a decent chance of beating them despite being on the road.

As long as we keep running, they'll be gassed out and we will definitely have a better showing than the last. Like come on, anything worse than a 37pt drubbing is waving PG goodbye. Can't happen.

Cought the highlights only and one thing stood out to me... how good the announcers were. No idea who these guys were but can we swap them for Stu and Billy?

    Dallas
    Memphis
    Oklahoma
    Indiana
    New York
    Boston
    Chicago
    Toronto
    Orlando

That's the remaining schedule we have for the month of January. We surely have great chances of beating 4(Mavs, Griz, Bulls, Magic), 3(OKC, Indy, Knicks) will be pretty difficult and a couple(Raptors, Cs) of elite teams which would require us playing exceptionally well while they struggle. Our game against Indiana is a 2nd night of their b2b which would help somehow.

So anything better than 5-4 would be great. But yeah, one game at a time.

If we go 1-8 with a W against C Bags, i'll be semi happy. 6-3 would be better though :)

Probably should just let spellcheck have it's way.

Wasn't that great? I said the same thing in another thread here. Greg Anthony was terrific particularly. I'd take him in a heartbeat over Billy Mac and Stu. He's a great commentator and really has a good feel for everything (makes sense as a former point guard).
