If Randle is frustrated and is wondering why, then Walton should discuss the situation with him. More to do with how he was playing? What? Walton's supposed best coaching trait is being able to deal with players as people too. So far, from what is transpiring that is not happening.

 

This is definitely the low of the season, but boy the negativity in here is smothering sometimes. I totally get it. I understand we're in a rough way right now and things look bad, but breathe. Take a minute. Let's all woosa. This is the journey of a bad team trying to improve. Two or three bad games don't undo the great progress we've seen from these guys. Have some faith in the players if you don't have faith in the organization because ultimately, like always, it was going to be up to the players to determine whether or not we'd be making it out of the doldrums. As long as Kuzma, Ingram, and Ball continue to show flashes of brilliance, that's what this season is about. A few losses without Ingram, Ball, and Lopez aren't going to make or break this season. We're still on an upward trajectory, my friends! Keep that in mind. We're already quite a ways past where we were with the Kobe farewell tour and with D'Angelo Russell. Soon we'll be past this point too.

 

I understand Kenzo. It's why I put this only and specifically in this thread. I'm not going to crusade for anyone else to feel optimistic, but with so many people feeling so down, I just want to try balance things a bit.

Yeah I mean we look awful but most teams missing 3 starters would look similarly bad. Obviously it's all relative to our starting point which is a 30 win team so losing three starters puts us reaaaaally low at the moment. We won't stay here too long though.

 

I think we need to look at the first 3 seasons of this miserable period as throw away. The rebuild couldn't start until Kobe and Byron were gone. Our rebuild started last year with Luke and a mid season take over of Magic and Rob. So look at it that way. We are in the middle of season 2 of the rebuild and we have 3 promising young players and one albatross contract.
