Nothing more needs to be said. I'm numb right now to anything good or bad that will or can happen to us now. Not excited about much of anything and and not mad at anything.

Agreed. This was like watching Sean Livingston go down only worse because he's one of ours.

    Damn you David Stern.

Awful. I'm pretty bummed right now. I was truly stoked to see Randle play this season.

I actually saw some positives in the game and then the 4th happened and Randell went down. I really don't understand how this team can be injured for 3 straight years. They said its only a fracture but that still puts him out for a couple of months. Im at a loss right now

Let's hope it's only a couple of months.

Elsewhere they said four months minimum. Only good news is that once it heals it will be 100% recovery. There's no ligament damage or anything.

Exactly. He's young. He'll be fine. In the interim, though, this roster lost a talented big. We're going to be awful this year.

He was kind of our X factor. You basically know what you're going to get from most of our other guys. But with Randle you saw glimpses of brilliance that gave you some hope that he would break out at times this year. It's a huge blow. He was a spark plug kind of kid. So Kelley is our backup 4 now? Big drop off.

I was really excited to watch Randle develop...this season just became a whole lot less exciting.

And the amount of injuries we have had these last few years is mind-boggling. When will it end...

The injuries are just so ridiculous. We haven't even had a chance to develop any consistency for years now. When is this curse going to end?! One of the brightest spots for the Lakers is down.

Refs really need to be consistent with those foul calls. Harden should not be getting so many free throws. If ever player in the NBA got the calls like he did, every game would be 5 hours long and half the players would foul out.

Lack of any offensive plan really bothers me. Imo, coaches shouldn't put more importance on one side of the ball or marginalize the importance of any aspect in the game. Great coaches like Pop/Carlisle emphasize both sides of the ball and adjust/adapt to the times. You cannot downplay the importance of the 3 ball. You cannot keep emphasizing defense and forget about the offense. I'm hoping that Byron has a long-term plan and is simply taking baby steps - drilling one thing at a time / making sure the players fully understand whatever he is preaching (like a cumulative exam).

Lin was disappointing. I was hoping he'd do a lot better. Unfortunately, after 2 drives to the basket where he ran into Houston's bigs and got no foul calls (ahem Harden would have gotten those calls), he became tentative. I don't know what was going on his mind. Maybe he thought the refs just weren't going to give him those calls anymore. He did have a burst in the 3rd, but the Rockets adjusted and we didn't.

We really need some shooters. 10 3pters? Ariza alone made more than we did (5 to our 3) and attempted nearly as much as we did (8 to our 10). If you can't and don't make those shots, every single team in the NBA is going to clog the lane. We need to open things up. It's bad enough that the offense was stagnant.

    -Sad news for Randle .

    - Cycles in NBA or not , our organization should be ashamed to put such little talent on the floor , especially at the guards and wing positions... Price , Clarkson , Wes , it's bad , really bad ...

    - You have to move the ball and bodies when you have little talent ... firing 10 midrange shots in the 1st quarter , it was so stupid , I laughed ...
