Yeah, but Gasol next to a guy who does all the dirty work (and can still pass) and is a consummate teammate - on a defensive team to cover his deficiencies and you have what you see. Here? Nah.

Knew from the start that playing next to Noah will be best for him but I was not expecting these kind of results. He's a big part of the Bull's success.

Pau got three of the best defensive players in the league on his team and schemes to cover most of his weaknesses on D ... AND the gap of talent between the Least and West is a GIANT one

Lovely game winner from Kobe tonight. No real complaints. Once again we played a tough game with a tough team. This time we came up with the W. Good stuff. Everyone contributed and played hard.

So uhhh, where in the world is Nash? The least he can do is show up to games or practices and teach our young guards.

    WMC from Indy game:

Hill and Sacre- Need to remember what got them playing time. Both these guys have gone from blue color workers to penthouse divas on the court. Sacre is showing glimpses of that blue color guy late in games but they both need to 1) not take a shot just because its there, 2) go to the paint more often, 3) go get the damn rebound. I really don't mind the 15 footers as long as they aren't taken every time they touch the ball.

Nick- I love Nick and am on the Swag train. However, he needs to attack the paint. He literally has the best handles on the team and outside of Lin can get to the basket easier than anyone yet hardly ever goes to the rack. Love his 3 ball but he has to use his tools more.

Lin- ATTACK THE F'n PAINT. This kid is a PG. I am tired of yelling at the screen for him to be aggressive. When he attacks he makes life easy for everyone. Late in games he (and Nick) needs to do it more.

If these 4 guys did this more we would win a lot of games. Other than that I really enjoyed our battle last night. Portland will be tough as hell we will need guys to step up way above and beyond normal.

Another really solid game tonight. Getting a W in Portland has always been a challenge for us, and we were in the game until the end. I loved the battle - great entertainment even if we came up a few points short. Our guys fought hard all game and were there at the finish. Sure, ideally we shouldn't be talking moral victories, but no Kobe, no Wes, Price having to leave after that gnarly elbow to the face, and we were still down to the wire against the team with the second best record in the West in their house. I thought it was impressive.

We tend to play hard against the good teams and just missing that final step to actually get the win. Hard to hate the team when they play this hard. We could very easily be blown out against them.

After last night against Portland, since I'm generally Glass Half Full Guy and WMC is tough for me, I think "may" have one.

    Lillard is not a Laker.

Just finished on time shift no commercials Lakers vs Clippers. Well that sucked. Why do we shoot like drunks at a park game when we play them any more? WTF Kobe? 2-12 and 4 points. SMH.

Both Kobe and Nick shot like sh*t against the clips...unacceptable. And nobody played D at all: easy layups, numerous uncontested alley-oops and dunks from those underachievers- f***ing shame...even without Wes and Price- there's no excuse!!!

    My WMC:

We played with no sense of pride last night. We missed soooooo many shots it wasn't funny.
-Kobe started with trying to get teammates involved for the 1st half and then tried to shoot us into the game in the 3rd. He couldn't make a shot.
-Nick is settling for long shots even when he has a clear advantage over a player. I really wish he would learn to attack the paint even if its is to stop and pull up for a 10-15ft jumper.
*Between the two of them I am pretty sure the basket was laughing cause they both shot like crap.
    - our bigs came up small that neanderthal DJ just jumped and swatted the ball out. I don't think I saw one true hustle rebound from a big until the 4th from Sacre. Kobe cannot be our leading rebounder every game.
    - Our defense was a comedy of errors at all spots. Disappointed in that effort all the way.

The Lakers came into the stadium like they didn't know there was a game tonight. Just awful.

If Ronnie and Wes are THAT important to our success, we're closer to that Top 5 pick than I thought we were.

I am very glad that I forgot about the game completely. I thought our next game was Friday. Sounds like I didn't miss a thing. Sad to hear we stunk up the joint against the Paper Clips. Sounds like Byron wasn't too happy about it, which is the right reaction. Bummer because we had been playing really good ball lately. Missing Ronnie is a drag, but Lin should have stepped up in his absence. I'm losing faith in Lin as a starting PG possibility for the future. He's kind of reinforcing the common feeling that he is best suited as an uptempo bench floor general only. But what the heck happened to Kobe? 2 for 12 and 4 points? Youch.

Back during our championship years I used get pissed when we would lose to the clips. Now I'm just like meh, we suck anyways for now. I guess every now and then the little guy gotta get some against the big brother.

It's getting hard to watch these games the past 2 seasons. I basically don't even pay attention to the schedule like I used. That's a shame because I used to be so hyped to tune in.

Yeah, what a shame that we have gotten to this point.. cant wait until the trade deadline to see if we get any assets by making a trade or two. Not going to be suprised if we dont do anything like years past, then we have to pray we get the top 5 pick or else we better have a sweet effing plan to recruit some players this upcoming off season.
