This number 2 pick has been "cursed" for a while ... So many busts drafted at this position since 2000.

The third best player drafted has been Tyson Chandler .... LOL

I won't call him that yet, but this loss is on Lonzo, he allowed tired Dame to rest on defense all game, which is directly the reason why Lillard made that clutch shot. If you're a starter and not a threat, you are useless in this league

Media is going to have a field day with Lonzo's performance, hope he brings it tonight or else we'll hear all about the Lonzo vs Russell comparisons.

I really don’t care what the media says anymore, I care about wins. We almost won yesterday and we did it because we play team ball, and that’s mostly thanks to Lonzo, so screw the media. The only person I’ve really even seen being stupid about Ball today was Stephen A, and that’s expected because he’s a clown. All that said, Lonzo can’t take 2 shots and score no points. That’s unacceptable, drive to the hoop a few times and get some free throws. I can’t believe people are throwing around the term “bust” and saying we messed up with the #2 pick again already though, that’s ridiculous to me.

And some of our own jumping back on that bust bandwagon. Some from out of the country as well. If the shoe fits ..... you know who you are.

You can't get away with not being a scorer/shooter threat in today's NBA .

It's a bad habit with him which will be difficult to get rid of .

As good as he can become , point guards don't win titles , wings do so it is what it is ....

My WMC? I can't get into the games like I used to. I can't shake the feeling that this is a wasted year, and unlike previous years we'll have nothing to show for it. Most of these players that aren't on rookie contracts won't be here next year, and with all the talk about trading various pieces that we've seen grow alongside the team, it just discourages me.

This is a whole different team. We're just getting to know them and them themselves. They're killing it comparatively to the past on defense now and are a blast to watch and root for because they're at least not quitting and definitely competitive in every game except opening night with Clippers.

You need an attitude adjustment. Couple pitchers coming up.

    :Beertoast2:

yeah yeah I know it's the WMC thread. I'm trolling.

My WMC... I don't normally do this because... well... I just don't.

    Here we go:

    1. Corey "Stone Hands" Brewer. He just pisses me off... he can't catch simple passes because they bounce off of his stone hands. He makes several mistakes when he is in and he isn't the defender that others purport him to be.

    2. Luke's handling of Randle. I still don't get it. His D has been great. His O has been solid. I just don't get the whole short leash thing. The thing is that Randle has been in the league and scouted by the other teams and is still putting up numbers in limited minutes. Everyone is clamoring for Kuzma (who is great, don't get me wrong) but once there is enough intel on him, I expect his performances to normalize.

    3. Nance's injury. I know it isn't his fault but it is frustrating. Since it is Nance's left hand, they should just wrap that thing up, ala Reggie White's club and let him punish the other team or bludgeon them!

    4. Lonzo's lack of aggressiveness. Lonzo needs to be more aggressive because it then puts pressure on his defender and making that person work on both ends.

    That's it...

Oh, I hate the Smeltics with every fiber of my being and they are doing well even without Hayward (They're 6-2). That just sucks.

Dall didn't have patience with him. They could have had Dirk and Kidd for a LONG time, but they decided to trade him.

Funny enough, he didn't get his ring until he came back to Dallas.

    Moral of the story? Patience!

WMC thread. Is this going to explode tonight and take the whole site with it if Deng is started or is Luke going to reward Randle or Kuzma with the start? Does the site have a Code Red or something for too much heat after danger level?

    Absolutely. It was a joke.

I expect favoritism towards teams like the Thunder, Warriors, or Cavaliers, but the f***ing Nets?

    Absolutely garbage officiating.
