My complaint is the boring a** Olympic play. I know we're warming up against non-competition but it's almost a waste of time. They'd have been better served playing the Select team on most nights.

...it's a dog and pony show without the dog, without the pony. Nothing to see.

What a freaking joke with how huge the payoff under the table, for whichever IOC members, must have been for this sad site to have won the games. :MitchReally: Rumors of pleas to the public for money so they can buy the cops a** wipe paper?? A witches brew of polution and viruses in the ocean water that antibiotics can't even prepare for. Seriously if a swimmer ingests anything in his/her mouth it could become a dangerous health problem. The Zika virus, which probably wasn't an issue honestly when the palms were greased, is the cherry on top of the sundae. Not to mention that if the poor cops aren't being paid regularly as of several weeks back, and have toilet paper problems .... sounds like a crack s.o.t.a. system in place to ward off any terrorism.

There were no better cities to hold it in?

Hasn't almost every city that held the games recently been in sort of debt afterwards and in shambles?

Afterwards yes, but not before. This is rare for the Olympics. Usually there's rumors of poor conditions before the games, but by the time they roll around everything is fixed. In this case...

    - Poisonous water
    - Underpaid security
    - Literal kidnappings
    - Poor living conditions even when completed
    - Multiple incomplete living situations
    - Among many "complete" facilities, many problems (plumbing, etc)
    - Corpses from homicide washing up on shore near gaming areas

I'm sure I'm missing some, but that's pretty horrifying just days before the games begin.

The regular season schedule is being announced at 2:45 PM today. I'm ready to complain about having less than 10 nationally televised games this season. We sucked last year and had 19 out of the maximum 25 but that was with Kobe on the team. Although, I do hate having to listen to TNT or ABC/ESPN so I'm not sure if I should care.

This is great because I had heard that the schedules wouldn't come out till early next week.

So we play the Clippers on Christmas, that's one big national TV game. Nothing like humiliation on Christmas. As far as more national TV games, the less games Reggie Miller calls, the better. I don't need to hear him spew hate for Russ for 2 1/2 hours.

I'm more concerned about Twolves being ranked that high.

i don't play video games....is the suggestion that the wolves are going to be one of the five best teams in the league next year? if so, that's probably grounds to completely ignore everything about this game.

That is the suggestion. I would be ignoring it too but Kobe is on the cover.
