    My WMC: He could've had 101 if Smush and Kwame QUIT SHOOTING THE FREAKING BALL YOU BUMS!!!!

    No surprise but BSPN is predicting we will finish dead last in the conference, and third worst in the league with 25 wins. *sigh* I'm still hoping for 34-36 wins which would put us around 11th or 12th based on their predictions, but I'm tired of seeing us in the cellar.

    there's a legitimate possibility that the lakers finish last again. but this year, i think there's a chance they finish as high as 10th (ahead of phx, sac, den and minny). i think those 5 bottom dwellers are roughly evenly matched right now. minny and sac have allstar level players in place, so i give them a slight edge, but look at den and phx--they're not appreciably better than the lakers.

    so, my wmc is...s***, we're STILL in that group?

    I had said I expect around 30 wins +/-2

    Best case is probably 35 wins...worst case is 25 wins. So ESPN being the Laker hater that they are will predict 25. At least I know it can't get worse.

    I think we'll finish ahead of Phoenix. I think they're the worst team in the West this season with a sort of hodge podge roster that doesn't know what it's trying to be yet. Denver will be interesting and I think we're at least competitive with them. Sacramento has more talent than we do, but you'd hope we could out perform such a dysfunctional franchise. I think Minny will be better than us this season, but next season we'll pull closer. I'm not sold on Wiggins being an impact guy on a great team.

    WMC related: tried to watch but those exhibitions were such a bore...like the Varsity against Little League caliber opposition.

    Laker basketball related: No news on Young being off the team [is all I got...]

    Pretty boring to be honest. The exhibition games are over by half time, sometimes by the end of the 1st. The only time I really watched Team USA was 2008.

    At least most of the youngins seem to be putting in work. I don't recall looking forward to the season as much last summer as this Summer. I think I know why...

    But we've also added talent, have a good young coach coming in, and developing youngsters. Nice to have something to look forward to for a change.
