I said it in another thread, we need to get rid of these guys. Let's say we get the #2 pick and select Ball. I want Russell, Randle and Clarkson gone. Hopefully some team thinks they are special, if not trade them for solid vets. Build around Ball, Ingram and Zu. That's your young core. You don't need more than 3. You need them to have as fresh a break from the old regime as possible. Add in character guys who are in their mid to late 20's not broken down dudes like 42 yr old Deng or a dude who has never really accomplished anything in Mozgov. And then go to work in reestablishing a culture that I honestly think will be impossible without wholesale roster changes.

Cleaning out the front office was a good start. But next season, let's have a new roster too, with some vets that everyone KNOWS will be around for a while. Just don't make it more Mozgovs and Dengs. We'll be moving into a new practice facility. We need to move on from this period now, even if it means eating it on some of these kids.

What's saddening is that at one point we thought JC was equal to LaVine...

He still is. LaVine isn't very good. He's flashy, but he's not good. Minny has actually played better since he went down.

Does not compute with how they are looking now out on the floor. I'm convinced Boron got back in Magic's ear and told him what the kids really need for this part of the season to pump up their trade value.

I still think Clarkson is a really good bench player. That sixth man role is good for him. Any time you can bring a guy off the bench even capable of scoring 30 points is a great thing. I'm not sold LaVine is much different to be honest. The jury is still out. I just get frustrated seeing the easy plays that Clarkson misses. The extra pass, hell the first pass, the defensive rotations, the weak side movement... so many little things he should have improved on by now.

Rewatched Kobe's air balls and then his last 3:00 against Utah last season. Sniff.

Means with DAR now seemingly destroyed (for whatever reasons benched after period post all star of pretty good play) and the out rostered lineup run out on the floor every night to get their a***s handed to them, that not much of this young core is going to bring back much of anything. And it's how Byron would have handled. Good luck with stars or solid vets coming back in return.

From only being down 8 points in the middle of the 3rd quarter to losing by 39 points.

Can't make that s*** up. Understandably so, Luke was pissed in his post game press conference. I've never seen him that upset even dating back to his Lakers playing days.

I think our tank by way of just shutting down healthy players with no pretense at all, not counting the more understandable trade of most productive player with some value coming back, may inspire the rules committee to take a hard look at the tanking problem after this season. We seem to have taken it to a very overt level.

    I loved it too.

He was especially pissed off about David Nwaba not getting a foul call. He's got our 2nd 10 day contract guy's back

I Actually root for all of our guys and wish they would figure it out and turn it around.

I just don't think it will happen, and I am no longer seeing things as idealistically as I was.

We have a LOT of warts as a team.

I can't believe you clicked that you sicko!

How did we go from Kobe60 to Ingram#2 to 10-10 to this mess we have now. I remember feeling so high when in the fourth quarter when Kobe was playing with Clarkson, DLO, Randle and Nance, feeling like it was symbolic of a changing of the guard.

I just realized my standards have fallen so far, that I was actually happy we kept it close.
