    My WMC: 4/20 from deep tonight.

    You know who lead us in percentage? Nance Jr. with 2/3. The rest of the team was 2/17! The starters were 1/13 with Russell making the only three but missing five of them...

    Actually not a totally wasted season if we don't keep the pick or worse than last year but it would sure suck to not keep it for what it would mean to us going forward with the new FO and coach in place now.

    Ehhh....feels like folks want the team to tank and get the pick but also get upset and complain about losses. If the goal is to lose then the opponent shouldn't really matter.

    Every game should be judged individually but what the team does. I don't care about wins and losses. At this stage we are unlikely to affect our chances of keeping the pick very much, but what the team can do is learn and develop each game.

    What do you see from players? Are they learning? Are they getting valuable experience?

    I don't think last night's game was a good loss. Russell was awful. Randle and Clarkson had tremendous statistical nights, but could have been much better. Nance Jr. was our best outside threat. I think the only learning experiences from this game that were good lessons were: a) Zubac against Okafor and b) how not to play at the end of games.

    And yes in the end, the players should take more pride in themselves. If they lose to the Sixers 101-98 or something, that at least indicates they played some level of defense. Hell if they'd stopped the Sixers in transition just twice, they win that game. Transition defense has been a problem since the start of the season and in the 2nd half Luke had his guys stop attacking the offensive glass and they would still get beat down the floor. Unacceptable.

    Not to mention, you're in the WMC.

    Not really going out on a limb here but the idea to bench Russell and start Clarkson didn't seem to go so well. Easily one of the worst games of the year. The team looked broken.

    Haven't really watched any games since Kobe retired but been checking the scores. It seems like our young guys aren't panning out as well as we hoped huh? Doesn't seem like any of them really will be stars (speaking mainly of randle, russell, clarkson).

    Curious to hear input.
