He def taunted him. It was still a cheap one especially with what Beverly does. The refs set the preference after that T and then swallowed the whistles when Beverly got into it a couple of our players. Clippers role players (outside of Lou Will) are only going to be useful if they can be grimey in the game. When they can't they are useless.

Reports are they still have 3 to 4 open roster spots to sign more players...plus Ballmer is greasing The League to play an extra two on the floor along with help from the refs.

The Harden effect. If you have no confidence on being able to play good strong and brave D you second guess yourself. This creates the space for the opposition player to score not their skill. It undermines your morale, attacks your composure, and THIS. This is what will cause a fight one day. Also it ridicules the values that the NBA's traditions are based on. It instead perpetuates the worst behavior and negative stereotypes of what basketball is. Play the man not the whistle. Be the man not the mangina calling for super ref to bail out your (very) offensive charges.

He and Rose both picked the Clippers to win. Nothing more satisfying than seeing eggs on their faces.

Memo to Pierce: you did NOT have a better career than Wade like you claimed. I mean does he even believe that? Every time I see a wheelchair I think of him and feel insulted for people who actually need it. Idiot!

And you got one and then you got another one. I don't question your passion for the Lakers. You have been there for all of the years we struggled. But you need to enjoy this season for what it is. You seem to be more uptight, panicked and NEGATIVE now we have something real. Sure the window is small. The window is always smaller than people think. But every team has weaknesses, flaws. Composure is key, have faith. And I would hope that rather than repeatedly spamming Rondo sucks, or going after Vogel etc, you could add some of the insight you are capable of. I know you have looked at a lot of basketball information and learned a lot. Drop some knowledge of this. I am leaving it here. Drop the receipts. Freedom of speech is a right and a responsibility. This year we need all our guns pointed in the right direction not suffering the slings and arrows or friendly fire and bruised egos. Because win or lose this time will be over in a heartbeat and we need to savor all the joy out of the season we can, and that includes in the game day discussion. Celebrate your team. Lose yourself in the good times it's all we have the power to do ultimately. Look at Kobe, Life is too short.

Are you done, yet? Great weekend? Sure.

Satisfied? Nope. Not until number 17 is here.

    And f*** Rondo.

He had a nice shift - 5 mins or so, but that was it.
    Again, f*** Rondo.

I get you LT. I usually lurk a bit in GD. Come in when a big play was made in the game to see the reaction from the board. That being said it's way to many people around who just hate on all our players like we a team of scrubs. Gets a bit tiresome. Love seeing the quality posters who can be critical yet supportive of what these boys are doing this year.

been tough to talk hoops since Kobe passed. Gotta feel like a lot of people feel the same.

This weekend helped a lot though.

The amount of stuff Beverly gets away with is insane. Especially for a guy at his talent level.

Showtime is right. The journey is the fun, the ceiling is the roof. You said this weekend would be statement games if we won, yet now you’re still not satisfied after we did. Seems to me you’d be happier to have been “right” and rub it in if we lost rather than to celebrate these victories. If the Clippers and Bucks had won, it would be the end of the world for us, so by that measure, since we beat them back to back and they’re at full strength, we should now be title favorites. In reality, these are just 2 games like I said back on like Wednesday, but they ARE great wins, satisfying wins, and they should be celebrated as such. We shouldn’t have to be trying to convince fellow fans that this is good and matters who had already said we were gonna get destroyed this weekend. I’m all for the anti-jinx, but constantly s***ing on the team and taking the fun out of wins is silly. The point of sports is entertainment, the whole season should be fun, every win should make us happy, but instead it’s constant whining and hating like puffy said, as if every player on our team should play like star every night.

As has been said, this success could be gone in a second, we could be back to winning 17, 21, 26 games in a season, then you guys will have a legit reason to constantly complain. Instead we are a top 3 NBA team, a legit title contender and people seem to have immediately forgotten what sucking truly is and how to appreciate success. Yeah, the goal is the championship, but 29 teams don’t win it every year, you still gotta find fun in and enjoy the season, otherwise why even watch. It’s one thing to not enjoy the season yourself, but when you start trying to spread your negativity like a virus and tell people they better not say jack or use excuses if we lose these games, you’re even foreshadowing negativity you’re going to spout should we lose, like a damn threat towards people having faith that we’ll win. Who wins in that scenario, like, just why? And then when we win, if the players pulled off what you challenged them to do through a message board that they’ll never read, essentially threatening to go off on US, fans who have no way of improving this roster or making the actual players play any better, shouldn’t you be praising them to no end for doing so? I dunno, just feels like it to me.

I do think the shock and grief about Kobe and Gigi really took the sails out of the great year we've been having. But this is the best way to heal, with incredible Laker play and Lebron and AD leading us to the playoffs. What a glorious weekend for Lakers fans. Back to dominating the very best opposition.

Can’t, I’m staff, gotta keep an eye out for things crossing into straight up trolling and baiting territory like it did with another longtime member who is no longer here. This is starting to feel familiar, like a dog with a bone, or a very strange hill to die on, when simply adjusting your position or saying, hey, good wins, I can get behind this can instead go a long way, but sure, digging your heels in feels better I’m sure. But I guess you’ll come for me when we lose in May or June right, hoo boy am I in for it then, mark it down. Or, you know, we could all just like, root for the team we have to win it all together, considering trades are over and buyouts are done.

How about having a more positive attitude and being more kind in general? I mean, that would be a good start. Love & happiness. :)

Would you like to handle this from an Xs and Os standpoint?

What did you see? Why did you see it that way? What adjustments do you think the Clippers will make in a 7-game series?

What adjustment did Vogel make in the 3rd quarter?

FYI, I didn't say nothing in the GT thread from the 3rd quarter on, and I wasn't responding until YOU decided to address me, but that's cool.

So, that aside, break down the game and at least keep me interested in what you're saying.

If not, and there's no need to address me, then move along.

I’m not asking for sunshine and rainbows. Discussion and disagreements are fine. But when I start getting told by a “realist” days before the actual games, don’t celebrate if we lose, don’t bump the optimism thread, don’t make any excuses, sorry, that’s over the line ridiculous. There’s a balance there where we can be positive and still criticize at the same time, I shouldn’t be basically threatened if I want to see a silver lining or take some optimism from playing the Clippers close in previous games.
