Maybe starting Dwight and Caruso might solve the problem of falling behind early every game

Agreed @ElginTheGreat our defense actually intimidates teams, we've seen it in the 2nd half of all of these games now. If they don't wait and defend from the jump, a few of these games wouldn't be close.

didn't really show up until about halfway through the third. up to that point, it was an embarrassing game for everyone not named lebron.

not even sure how they managed to just flip the switch and dominate. though the bulls were shooting unusually well for the first part of the game.

anyway, come out like that against miami, and you're going to get buried. ask houston.

Not having a playmaker outside of LeBron is really killing them. Kuzma maybe the answer as he can create for himself but every other guy including AD need their offense to be initiated

Iggy seems critical for this team

It's a concern especially against the more elite teams.

The Lakers are reportedly already looking for a ballhandler/wing defender.

We will add another piece of two; we might have to wait until after December 15th, though...

Rondo is our 2nd best in getting everyone else shots. If LeBron can improve his defense to where he's looked the best defensively since his Miami days, then we need to wait for Rondo and see how he will come into play. People hate Rondo for his defense but Cook and Daniels are worse than Rondo defensively. Every team could use Iguodala so it doesn't really say much, either. If we get him, great. If not, I'm still liking how our team is constructed. AD has played horribly offensively and one thing about LeBron James-led teams in a complete team overhaul is it usually takes time for them to gel. If you told me we would be 6-1 with AD shooting this poor with the ball and our three point shooting being one of the league worst, I would say thank you.

Rondo is not going to be an answer. Not only is his defense terrible but he can't shoot. The Lakers have enough offensive problems already. Frnakly I hope he stay injured and the team can just figure out how to maximize Kuzma with Caruso getting more minutes along with Bradley and Green

Daniels, Cook, Bradley, and Caruso aren't shot-creators for others. As much as I'd like to believe Caruso can take that leap, he'll never be as good as Rondo in terms of understanding an offense. Come playoff time, it would be foolish for the Lakers not to play Rondo so the quicker we get him into our offense, the better. Defensively, he's had some issues but if LeBron at age 35 can come back and redeem himself, so can Rondo. You're judging him based off last season and quite frankly, that's unfair considering we have much better defensive players and a coach who preaches defense. The Alex Caruso memes have officially overhyped Caruso. He is shooting below 40% and is 20% from three. He has more turnovers than assists. Stop with this madness already. Rondo's 20-25 minutes of play is a huge boost that can propel our bench.

Rondo ain't Lebron and the problem with Rondo vs Caruso or a Cook is that even when they're off players won't just leave them wide open. Rondos always been a great passer but that skill has diminishing returns as his athleticism has waned and teams just play off of him so much that they aren't any passing lanes. Only real see him as a positive not on the floor with Lebron because you need floor spacers around James

On the other hand as bad as Caruso's shot has been, he's been very good on defense and he just doesn't do dumb stuff. He's basically your typical roleplayer who thrives with Lebron. So again Rondo's value maybe as a facilitator with Howard/Kuzma off the bench but I hope he's not part of a crunch time 5 as the Lakers really should be going small ball with AD at 5, Lebron at the 4, and shooters everywhere else

A.D. has to stay inside, especially late game, instead of this winging up garbage outside shots. Only down 4 late and he squats out there and we keep kicking out for hail mary plays... made no sense. Should have attacked the paint for high percentage shots, and one opportunities... got out hustled inside with layups, put backs and lazy rebounding.

Well the Raptors aren't that good...and without Ibaka and Lowry pretty short-handed.

This is a terrible loss overall. We are going to have a few of them but I hope it doesn't become a pattern that we blow against better teams and beat the bad teams. Being this flat at home is generally not acceptable, especially given the maturity and veteran nature of this team.

I'm starting to get annoyed with out offense. Open shots aren't falling which has been a problem for about 2 decades now...good shooters come to the Lakers and start laying more bricks than your average construction worker.

Also KCP really needs to be benched for good. Worthless POS.

Also AD needs to man up and pound a little bit inside instead of taking 20 footers all night.

We were due for a stinker. A lot of missed opportunities to get back and win this game. Hate it :(
