AD is in a bit of slump in that regard.

LeBron is the worst ISO player among all time greats, who scored a lot, I can think of.

    Kareem
    Wilt
    Shaq
    Kobe
    MJ
    Bird
    TD
    Malone

I don't even know if I can think of one...

He has no iso handles (skip, crowford, Paul, curry). He has no post game to speak of. He has no cross-n-pull-up or step-back.

The dude is a running back that plays basketball.

Come on now. He's improved in these areas.

Ok. Name me one other player in the top 20 with that much gaps....

Like, not Russell who was a primarily defensive player...

You could say West, since he, AFAIK, didn't use his left hand...

He did improve, to the point where it's not embarrassing, but it's far from good.

I just said he's improved his (skills in the game) as he's gotten older. Not that he should be ranked high. You smacked him as nothing more than a running back who plays basketball.

Well, isn't he? After doing for 17 years even running back would pick some tricks.

Of course I exaggerated, but he really is very very mediocre in almost all ISO parameter where he doesn't have a full court to get speed

i've been beating that drum on lebron. teams are leaving one guy in charge of him and staying home, expecting he won't punish. they send multiple at AD, hence the lower ISO possession numbers.

lebron has to fix that number if we're going to contend. you can tell he's picking up on the strategy and is annoyed by it--he was trash-talking zeller a bit in an iso situation in the last game, which i read as voicing his annoyance that teams are thinking this is a good idea.

well, it has been. up to you to fix that.

LeBron for SURE needs to take advantage in those situations and not be so damn passive. He did last game and he made CHA pay for it. He needs to do that EVERY game.

    I agree.

I think his efficiency goes up with two things, though: operating out of the triple threat (free throw line extended down) and AD playing the 5 more often.

James has said the same thing; either way, he has to be better in those situations ESPECIALLY on mismatches...

They shot like crap last night for sure. I expect some streakiness but not by everyone all at once. They can't have too much of that especially with the personnel they have. Someone has to score. I do think the addition of Kuzma will help the bench a lot. He won't help the 3 point % but just having a versatile scorer like him on the floor should open things up for the shooters.

    So, a few things:

Bad starts - Take Javale out the starting 5. I think he's clearly the weak link.

    Pope - Awful.

    Daniels - If he isn't hitting 3's, he's useless.

Again, we need a wing defender. I know we're waiting for the buy out market, but these big wings are giving us so much trouble, and Pope isn't the answer.

And I'm surprised Green wasn't on Luka much - that was head scratching...especially in the 2nd half when he wasn't in foul trouble (he had 2 in the first half)...
