I hope this game shows Vogel that Dwight/Rondo/KCP should NOT be starting...

    Guard play overall concerns me.

Bradley is not backing up the early hype.

Nets looked better than I thought.

so true, killed any momentum from the start, made LBJ and AD ineffective trying to figure out the offense. No threat from the outside

Because the Bald Eagle stands for freedom, which China doesn’t allow. What happened? We lost to Brooklyn scrubs with Kyrie and Vert only playing a minute?

Danny Green was 2-8 from the field, 0-3 from 3pt. Hopefully this is just rust and he starts hitting them in the regular season.

No ma'am they were playing some of their starters and rotation players til the very end while we played Norvelle Cacok Jackson with a sprinkle of KCP and Dwight. AD and bron lasted only until the middle of the 3rd. Our scrubs nearly won it

If we wanted to win this game, we would have won it with Bron/AD in the fourth. Besides, the Nets were unbelievable from 3.

highly doubt he forgot how to shoot over the course of a single offseason. he had one down year a few years ago where he shot 33% (which would, sadly, be an improvement over most of the non-shooters we played last year). where you worry with older players is when their individual d falls off a cliff. that could happen to green this year or next, for sure. but i expect him to shoot 37-40% from three and, perhaps more importantly, draw the defense to him in the halfcourt.

Why start Rondo, KCP, and Dwight? Gross. Also Bradley has been bad, can’t score and foul prone.

didn't see the second game, but i thought bradley was a big part of the good start against gs by making things tough on curry.

and there's no reason to start those three unless there are major injuries. think vogel was throwing guys a bone to make them think they have a shot at starting. it's going to be bradley/green/lebron/davis/mcgee, imo. which is as it should be.

You have a very low threshold for the phrase “hype machine.”

You’re basing all of this on a couple interviews with Vogel after practice. That is not hype. To call it hype, it has to go beyond a couple quotes from our head coach. Outside of LB, who in the basketball world has been talking about Bradley?

And how is his solid shooting in Memphis hype? That’s a documented observation people point to as a sign that he’s capable. Again, not hype.
