The Thunder got stabbed in the back unexpectedly, no question about it. At least they got some picks. What will Russ do now?

@karacha Lakers have already called to ask. Westbrook is unhappy, but may be a reactionary thing. Sam Presti said he's not trading Westbrook at this time, but that is a standard response to a call like that.

We have nothing to trade. You mean mid season possibly? Kuzma and what money?

Would need to be 3 teams likely.

I’m still furious at the OKC front office. How about telling George to play out the massive four year contract he signed?

And I don’t see anyone making a fuss about it. Other teams’ fans aren’t complaining about George forcing his way to his preferred destination. The only reason people complained about Davis’ trade request was because it was to the Lakers.

Not only did no one make a fuss, they seem to be thrilled by it. Nothing but congratulations and marveling at what the Clippers did. Had we signed Kawhi it was going to be called weak and get nothing but hate.

I still can't fathom why Presti would cave in to trade George to the Flippers given he has 3 year left on his contract. If this is purely a matter of luxury tax hurting a small market team, then OKC surely live up to their Cheapskate Arena name.

Paul George is the clear #2 in the Kawhi-Paul George relationship. I never want to hear about Paul George as a face of the franchise MVP candidate ever again.

Kawhi played us for fools. Drug this out as long as possible to make sure we couldn’t strengthen our team.

Drug this out as long as possible to let the Clips get a star so he could sign there.

I was sure this was conspiracy theory stuff and I wasn’t buying it (and I’m a big conspiracy theory guy), but yes, it does indeed appear this is the case. Strung us and Toronto along. I have a hard time believing he ever wanted to play here with LeBron and AD if he was more willing to team up with PG instead. Could have made an insane dynasty and instead he’s on just another contender out of like 8 or more.

Jerry stabbed us in the back, you know it. He was waiting for this opportunity and it came.

F**k Kawhi, his entire family end all their animals. I haven't ever been this pissed about anything BB. And to think it is done to us by none other than Jerry West, a Lakers legend.

Shows you, that it really has to be a special type of person to play for us. Kobe was right, crazy respect for Bron and now AD.

Yes it did, a lot actually.

To be honest, I really believed we would get Kawuss. I was planning to write a lengthy "thank you" post where I would point out how I have gained a lot of respect for Bron, how Magic was the one who made it all happen after all, Jeannie is not as bad as we thought, Rob can actually do his job and maybe even the Rambii are not the end of the world.

Now? Call me a fan of LeBron, I'm officially on board, thean did everything necessary to get us to contention and actually sacrificed part of the shrinking time he has left as a force in this league. As for the rest, the jury is still out on the FO, but the KCP signing sure as hell isn't making me comfortable.

Magic can go f**k himself too, hope I'll never see or hear him ever again. Hate him as a Lakers executive as much as I loved the player.
