Svi is almost 22...he looks like a scrub to me right now.

He has a great stroke but so did Sasha or Nick Stauskas.

You gotta make them in games. He doesn't look close right now.

i'm a svi fan. he's more athletic and gets better lift on his shot than stauskas. but yeah, the likelihood that moving him will haunt us is low.

Yeah he's screwed like Randle at 24, really too old to have any upside or improve. Hate those kids that stayed too long in college learning the game. Especially since we got Bollocks for likely just a third of a season to replace him and who has been lighting it up.

2012-13 was far more disappointing of a season than this current one

mainly because that team was expected to contend for a title unlike this season

Why are you LOL ing yourself? For me this season has been the worst. Still believed in the Lakers back then and was waiting to see how Kobe, the s.o.t.a. thinking grinder he was with his physical preparation, was going to come back from his achilles rupture.

This year I and most of us looked forward to the playoffs being a lock and if we gelled properly making some noise in the playoffs. Best and smartest scenario of keeping all the important best of the young talent and evaluating over the course of the season. With LeBron. And then making the hard but smart choices how best to go forward. Now our future seems to hold none of that but solely depends on building around LeBron ball and him and his agency turning out to be "the Guy we thought they were". This reality started with the stupid moves with Randle and Lopez and even T. Bryant let go and stupid re-invent the wheel and not listen to your coaching staff FA choices they made. Then even more destructively they blew up all the hard won team culture and great FA destination going forward look that same coaching staff installed. Injuries and the AD cluster **** gave none of it a chance to jell and to make up for it they sent out even more young talent prematurely in Svi and Zubac especially while we were still in the playoff hunt and he was making good progress again and McGee and Chandler were falling off.

i posted LOL in regards to the knicks game

no way this season is worse. we all figured getting lebron would guarantee the playoffs not thinking about how flawed the roster was and forgetting how strong the west is

with a healthy lebron, i had the lakers at 45-50 wins. if you had told me he'd miss 20 games and be at half speed for the next ten, i would have had it about where it is.

the 2012-13 season was supposed to be contention. then nash breaks his leg, like, 3 minutes in and his career's over. we fire a coach 8 games in and hire another s***ty coach who alienates our post players (who happen to be our 2nd and 3rd best players), eventually killing the trade value of gasol.

Then this seems a difference of opinion between the ring is the ONLY thing and there's a lot more to Lakers fandom that is involved for many others myself included.

Almost as predictable as giving up 41 in the first quarter.

The Clippers are in much better shape than I realized.

I was under the impression that if they were going to get room for 2 max slots, it meant they would have to get rid of their current core of players.

Gallinari, Lou Will, Montrez, Shai, and Shamet are already locked up on reasonable deals for next year. And that’s pretty much the core of their current roster that is continuing to show that they’re a playoff team.

I hate the Clippers and want to keep them at their historic level of irrelevance. But I think it would be ignorant to deny the fact that they are running their team better than us. Magic over Jerry is going to end up going down as a crucial misstep in our history.

A total cost of 27.5 millions for the last 4 players you named for next season . Indeed great value .

Jerry had beef with Phil THOUGH and Jeanie didn't like it

That just about sums it up... didn't even know there was a game today... the only thing that could have made things worse is if we actually held on for the win...

LOL me too again. After missing the last 5 games for lack of interest. But then I noticed the red Game Time marker had 4 people in it so I thinks to myself ooops did I do it again, was there a really early game and check sports page. Yep. So out of morbid curiosity I watched the 1st half on the recording, but then had other things to do so just went to the remaining visible GT posts and was taken from a win to the loss comically in about 20 of them and then the gallows musing at the end after Bron stuffed by Super Mario on his predictable last shot at the buzzer. Happy with myself for not wasting my time further with the 2nd half.

For 6 months I had planned on going to yesterday's game. Today is my birthday, so all along I thought it would be a nice gift to myself. In the end, I had to make sure to tell my gf NOT to surprise me with a ticket so I wouldn't have to endure such painful torture at such ridiculous prices since it's MSG. Randomly checked NBA.com during the 4th quarter without realizing there was a game and couldn't help but laugh that I was rooting for the Knicks.

So I have a question. I’m very disappointed in this years team we vastly underperformed for a team with young talent, decent players, and lebron. I’ve seen blame thrown around everywhere. The players. Lebron. The front office. Luke. Ultimately, what’s the reason this team fell apart?
