Not going to lie. I completely agree with Paul Pierce here. Shut him down. This team will finish, at best, 8th...which will lead to us getting obliterated by GS. That's the best case scenario. Worst case? Lebron hurts himself badly like Kobe did trying to drag a team to the playoffs.

Sit Lebron. Try to get a better pick. If we sat him, we could actually get a top 10 pick. That opens up so many trade opportunities. Trade Lonzo and the 10th to Phoenix for their pick if it doesn't land #1. Offer up Kuzma, Hart, the #2 pick and a couple more future firsts for AD. It'd be easy for the Pelicans to sell to their fans that they got the #2 pick and a 19 ppg scorer for AD.

    or

We use the second pick ourselves to get us RJ Barrett. We then wait until 2020 to sign AD outright to couple a 26 year old superstar with Barrett, Kuzma and Ingram. Oh, and we'd still have Lebron.

I already hate this team more than I've ever hated a Laker team. Not because of the individuals (ie Ingram, Kuz, Hart) but because we are being ran by an agency/mafia. Even though it's to our advantage, I wish AD wasn't with Klutch, but still wanted to come here. I'd ship out Lebron for picks, trade Ball and his headache of a family with our pick to move up to #2, and then sign AD in 2020 to go with a core of Ingram, Kuz and Barrett.

A couple more losses and I will probably agree. I feel like some of the vets have already mailed it in and are getting ready to move on to the next spot in the offseason. If we can't get some momentum going, I don't see the point in continuing to run LeBron in the ground. Especially when he already looks like he's not 100% out there.

I don't agree.Last time when Lakers were in playoffs they were obliterated by San Antonio, Kobe and Nash were injured, we had Morris and freaking Steve Blake and some guy Andrew Goudelock is
who is playing in China now
starting, but nobody wanted to miss playoffs

He’s racking up numbers for all time career stats records he might break as a Laker, so he’ll just be load managing and not exerting enough to get hurt smh

I know this is a moan and complain thread, but my prediction before the season still stand. We will make the 8th seed and we will beat the Warriors in the 1st round, but lose in the WCF. :)

The bolded/underlined parts sums up the adversities Johnson and Pelinka have to hurdle... Riley calls them "peripheral" opponents.

Hey what could go wrong with a Lebron/Kuzma vs AD/Randle matchup?

Ohh we just saw what Randle did to Kuzma last game. Let’s double down

I agree, but to be fair, no one on our team can handle Randle.

Normally I would be happy when we win, but until we string together a few wins in a row, something feels missing and empty about this win.

Kuzma was garbage on D against Randle and AD...can't blame him, its just not his cup of tea to defend bruising bigs.

With that said, I thought Hart did a good job on Randle on D at the end of the game. Took away his "blow by" first step and forced him into passes or jumpshots.

Jeezuz, would you have preferred the "string" of losses continuing?
