This team is on the brink of imploding, you can see it from tonight's game. Thursday is going to be real testy, AND it's in Boston too.

The trade deadline is 3:00PM ET/12:00PM PT on Thursday. The Boston game is taking place at 8:00PM ET/5:00PM PT on Thursday, so the deadline will be over for 5 hours when the game starts. That should be plenty of time to shake off the nerves and get their head in the game.

Cavs and Knicks losses are still the worse of the season, but man this was the hardest one to watch. Guys are clearly not playing for each other.

I’m upset there is no prayer thread. We need one so we can all pray the team pulls off something by the trade deadline

This game proves the mental strength of the young players and the absolute s***show that Lebron James is and always has been. If AD isnt a Laker in the next 36 hours, signing Lebron James offically becomes a bust.

NO one, not Klay, Durant or Kawhi are coming here this summer. And now, we truly know why Paul George told the Lakers to eat it.

Lakers need to think long and hard if this deal doesnt go through.

Well the realities of the situation have suddenly taken a turn for the worse. Kinda feeling they've blown it all up prematurely with who's gone physically and mentally now as OX writes above and sirron with the "he is who we thought he is" truth of the matter. Magic and Rob took a huuuuge risk in concert with Klutch this week and it may have blown up on us. Well they have always said they have all kinds of contingencies planned out. Hope they are really good and executable.

Wonder who LeBron has picked for our next coach.

I wouldnt let Lebron pick plastic forks and spoons at a Lakers team picnic. Kevin Durant doesn't get enough credit for the TOXIC comment he said months ago.

Lebron is a piece of s***, contradicting, narcissist, hypocritical, Trump like (Even though he s***s on the guy) f*** stick.

I loathe liars and hypocrites. And he is the biggest one. f*** Lebron James. The Lakers should trade him for AD and Julius Randle. Salaries match and I BET you if they had the balls to do that Kawhi comes to LA in the summer.

:This: I couldn't agree more. Trade this guy for whoever you can. He’s toxic, and not worth it. I really wish he’d went to Philly back in July.

We HAD to go after AD. It was a chance every sane person would took ffs. Players that can't grasp that, can go f*** themselves and sulk playing for another team (after delt for peanuts for all i care).

With this kind of mental weakness, even if the team does barely make the playoffs at the 8th spot, no matter what anybody does, whether it's top management or the coaching staff, or whoever, it would surely result in a 1st round exit.

It is a business. Always has been. Always will be. Someone said before to NOT get too attached to our players, and it is true. I have always cheered for the Lakers franchise and not for a particular player, because I know nothing is permanent in life in general. But that won't stop me from wishing them well when they go to another team (e.g. New Orleans Lakers) and I will support the incoming crew. The players, especially the young ones have no choice but to accept reality, otherwise they will continually be upset that what is happening to them is not what they dreamed about.

It is one thing to say that a player is not affected by the trade deadline, but it is another to play like it. That did not seem to happen last game, getting blown out.

The trade f'n deadline couldn't come any sooner...

    Playoffs....see ya next year.

Our only shot in the arm is the Clippers being decimated and losing ground faster than we do. Other than that, we have been hot garbage.

I'm not enjoying this season much anymore, I liked last yr alot better when he didn't have any expectations to win and we weren't trying to trade the ENTIRE team lol

This is on the front office, yes Magic. He bowed to Lebron's desires at the expense of the team first mentality. By making public all these ridiculous trade proposals he is saying "see 'Bron I'm doing whatever is needed to get your guy"...plus undermining Walton's ability to coach these now uninspired promising players which may just get 'Brons other desire, replacing Walton as coach. I've tried to get on board with LeBron as a Laker and at first things looked hunky dory, but now I may take a break as a Laker fan until he's retired.
