Biggest mistake of our franchise was to not think how about "shooting/individual scorers" was key in today's NBA when they selected both Ingram and Ball.

I feel depressed when I watched some of these games this jerk Murray is having .

^ that's why we should play Svi a lot more. He needs to gain confidence since he's the only player on the roster, that can shoot.

Let's not forget there are non-shooters like the recent consensus #1 picks in Fultz and Simmons. Things could be a lot worse than our #2 picks in Ball and Ingram :D

And I don't get the love Murray is getting. It's not like the guy is shootIng lights out. In fact Ingram has a higher eFG%.

His best games are (way) more impressive than Ingram ones.

You see his potential as a scorer and as a closer , BI not so much.

The pb with BI is even when he hit an outside shot it looks like a struggle , nothing is smooth , his release , his shaky ball handling trying to navigate the PNR/against tough defense.

Hard to be very positive even if he's still 21 AND with such a poor development players staff

I’ve been wondering the same thing. He’s had some great games, but ultimately he’s a high volume, often inefficient, score first PG.

Btw, Murray is almost a year older than BI.

I understand your concern, but Ingram doesn't get the same opportunities. Murray has been given the keys to be the main ball-handler since his rookie season. It's not like these kids could just flip the switch and dominate as Lebron goes down. Lebron ball to non-Lebron ball is a huge adjustment in itself.

Much of Ingram's struggles is linked to his physical development, which we need to show patience.

What is making this stretch without Lebron so rough is Rondo being out which just compounds everything.

Back in the 2007-2010 era when we were contending, if Kobe missed a game, we still had Pau, Odom and Fisher to keep things together. For this team it was supposed to be Rondo, and when Lebron went down with the groin pull, Rondo kept the ship from sinking. Now Rondo is down and the ship hit the iceberg.

The only way out from this mess is for one of the kids to be that guy.

We have missed the playoffs for the latest 5 seasons , 4 of them were completely unwatchable .

I think we have shown enough patience .

We could survive Bron's injury if Rondo was available. Without both (and probably Kuz) we're screwed.

LOL Lebron sitting out a couple weeks due to this groin strain is not a surprise and is nothing like the Bynum saga.

With a groin strain you should expect about 2-3 weeks out. It's been less than 2 weeks. Let's not overreact to a very predictable update.

Lebron missing time is something we should be prepared for considering his mileage. Problem here is missing Rondo too who could be that steady hand controlling the game instead of Ball and Ingram who are having mental farts out there. And missing our second best scorer in Kuz compounds that.

Luckily Jan is a little easier and we have a 2 game week in 2 weeks. Still though we have much bigger problems and I think a lot of them can be solved if we made our free throws.

If you can't shoot free throws, you don't belong in the league.
