My WMC is the pain of a defeat when we are in a position to win and can't close, but more so the abject depression I get from reading the comments on LB after a loss.

We should have won at least one if not both games. We were up 10 points or so when Ball and BI picked up their fourth foul last night. We can’t let the other team go for 22 unanswered points. How the hell does that even happen? Someone on the court needs to show a little pride. It’s one thing to be young, it’s another thing to have no backbone.

Just in general this entire season, the refs hate josh hart on both sides of the ball. Luke's techs and fine have mostly been about ridiculous calls/no calls against josh.

seemed inexplicable that Wagner didn't get any run. I don't get that.

Which is exactly why we need another All Star calibur Vet & we may have to give up a couple promising, young pieces + picks to get 'em. Unfortunately, you'e just not promised anything in Free Agency.. Need to create your own good fortune sometimes.

my wmc: took the lakers' entire roster an entire half to sit on fox's left hand. guys were shading him to his freaking strong hand in the first half (and even parts of the third quarter). kudos to whichever coach or player finally threatened lives if he got to his left around the basket again.

Even when we recovered in the 4th, we had no offense to speak of. It was our individual guys making mostly impressive athletic plays on their own, since the offense was completely stagnant. I don't understand this.

Preemptive WMC for next game. Lakers fans are gonna boo the s*** out of PG, but the league is gonna punish them for it. Memo to refs: give Paulina the Harden treatment.

We can keep mocking his masculinity, but George is an allnba-er. Get mad at maglinka.

why? the talk was George's camp ask the Lakers not to trade for him and he will sign with them when his contract was up. A man is only as good as his word, so he deserves all the derision.

that's not how george recently implied it went. sounded to me like he was surprised the lakers didn't make a better offer.

Well, he's covering his a** after he re-signed with the Thunder but the whispers were at the time he was making the rounds in talk shows was he didn't want a NYK Melo type situation where the Knicks traded half of their roster. He's an a** and I hope he breaks a leg, not in a Broadway kind of way.

My anti-Laker friends say with the group of young guys we have and if Lebron and Rondo can stay healthy you guys could make some noise. Get on here and find out we suck and have no chance. World has gone insane.. lol

How bout the team get lucky and stay healthy and all play together at length to get into a rhythmn. That's what's really happened all season long.

the west is really close, and we're nearing the halfway point, so it doesn't seem like real separation is going to happen.

we're 3.5 out of 1st and 3.5 ahead of 12th. so, could the team get everyone healthy, figure out their style, and challenge? sure. they could probably beat anyone but gs or houston in a seven-game series under optimal conditions. but conditions are rarely optimal. we're also another mini-skid away from being out of the playoff picture. utah, memphis, and san antonio are currently behind us in the standings, and history says all have a very good chance of not being in that position going forward. dallas and sac are close and have no incentive to tank. NO is desperate to make the playoffs and will get mirotic back soon (with him, they're a lot tougher, imo).

so i can see both reasons for optimism and reasons to be pretty concerned. i will say that other teams will make trades and not be hamstrung by trying to ensure summer cap flexibility, so that's another in the "concern" column.

But we are honestly deep already to make noise and deep with Bigs too which GS is now scrambling to find more of .... long as we get that "luck" to get that rhythmn.
