LOL. So we are down to blaming the refs now?

    LOL. That's just pathetic.

Is the NBA out to get us?

Come on, V. You can't possibly think we are losing because of the officiating, however horrible it is.

D is a problem, but how can you be the aggressor on one end, not get the whistle and then play solid defense and get a reach in foul on the other end?

Yall clearly saw a different game than I did.

Also... dude, if you want to throw stats out there, at least be honest about it. Out of those 2-point attempts, how may where jumpshots? I am betting we had way more and they had theirs much closer to the basket. That's what my eyes tell me. Bron shot like 5 turnaround fadeaway jumpers. BI shot a bunch of midrange.

I don't recall anything like that for the MIN.

We were in penalty very earlier in the 3rd? quarter. The refs weren’t great but they were not the reason we lost. The refs don’t turn the ball over, or get chicken when we need big shots. This is on the Lakers and the Lakers only.

refs haven't been kind to the lakers early on. i hoped lebron joining up would change things, but hart and ingram have a really tough time getting whistles on offense and both get super quick whistles on d.

it's not the sole reason we lose, but each night, we're getting outshot at the line, and luke's right: the lakers DO attack the basket as much as anyone. so it's kinda hard to figure out why the frequent negative disparity.

anyway...we don't deserve wins until we decide to play defense. we did it last year. we did it once the game got away from us (again). if we played that way from the opening tip, we might actually get ahead in one of these games.

that's three losses to non-playoff teams (i think both minny and the spurs miss the cut this year). gotta take at least one of these games, despite everything.

Bron's unforced error was lame tho and I agree with you there, but we had 18 turnovers to their 14 ...they got 3 more offensive boards than us (however both teams had 31 rebounds)...yet we had 6 more shot attempts than they did....but they still had 15 more FT attempts than we did...da f***?!?

How can you be the aggressor, push tempo, hit the paint and get the majority of your production from there, but then not get the whistle when that goes hand in hand with the type of gameplan you're running? How can you defend the perimeter, yet get reaching calls on a flailing 3ball (like Josh/BI got called on Butler)?

Cook, the irony in your post is you're giving an opposing board some grade A doom.

I don’t like this team right now, that’s my WMC. I don’t enjoy typing that out or saying it out loud, but I don’t enjoy this team very much. I didn’t watch tonight’s game, I didn’t watch the first time we played the Spurs, I find myself increasingly dissinterested in tuning into these games. Then I look at the score and see we lost after and it’s just disheartening, we lost to a Wolves team in turmoil right after we’re back at full strength. We added LeBron James yet we are 2-5 in a conference where you can’t afford to start this bad and then have the playoffs be a guarantee. I know this is a year before we are supposed to get our 2nd star and take the leap, but I expected to be better than this. Yes we are in games, but we are not closing them. I’m also finding it very hard to root for LeBron, much harder than I anticipated. I’m thankful we got a star, but I just plain don’t like the guy, I want a Kawhi, an AD, a Butler in here, someone that plays all out at all times.

Offensively we're elite. Defensively we're one of the worst, if not the worst. We let a mentally beat t wolves team that lacked chemistry and got destroyed the night before by the bucks to us. Where's the dog fight in this team like last year. Where's the fire, I get it, offense is fun, but come on fight harder of defense. We reach way too much. Also play f***ing wagner, we need another 7 footer out there to bang besides mcgee. Also please close the games with Lonzo, even if his offense isn't working he's our best defensive player by far.

^We're not even elite offensively. Our transition game and running game is elite. But our 3 pt shooting is sporadic at best and our half court offense is terrible.

I also get what weezy means by having a hard time watching Lebron. We all know how good he is but he just lacks the fire and tenacity we're use to watching Kobe. Not saying Kobe didnt take plays off but when we needed Kobe, he was always giving it his all, whether he succeeded or not is a different story but the heart and effort was always there. Its just not the same with Lebron.

    Again free throws.

We were 10-15 from the line and lost the game by 4pts...that and we put the TWolves on the line twice as much.

My Wmc: The fans not even giving this a chance, and this is coming from the f***ing guy who refused to come around here when Jimmy/Mitch ran our s*** into the f***ing ground.

Lord knows I exercised patience with those two, but at the end of the day it became 4 years of futility and wasting a generational player's window and I couldn't take a 5th season knowing these idiots s*** away our Kob vacated capspace for Mozdeng.

What yall experiencing now is this FO's clean slate (and s***, it still has 14.3m this year and 5m for the next 3 of Deng's dead money on it)...but this is technically their year 1 of what they wanted to do from the jump... they just had to waste a whole year of cleaning up dumb & dumber's s*** to achieve it.

And then we look at our FO and we have a Buss (the good subtype), a West (a younger less Cenile type), a Magic and a Mamba (Rob by proxy)... With all do respect, what are all y'all complaining about?

That legendary Laker conglomerate had the vision to bring in 2 stars to guide our young collective. They brought the best star available, who knew nothing but Finals runs, and they wanted to be the bar that clotheslined you, rather than meet the bar the dubs set by encouraging a league of copycats to play their style.

Sorry, but it's been 7 f***ing games... And nearly all of you gave them previous lames 5 playoff-less seasons.

If you don't enjoy it and don't believe in the vision, then do like I did and step till the #TidesTurn. But a humble request: Try to give a roster/coach/FO that has been in flux trying to correct the errors of their predecessors, some goddamn time.

That being said, I'm going to give less time to this type of energy.
