playing small lineups that can't shoot is just death. you're missing the point!

Randle and Kuzma need to start.

Lonzo can't thrive when Lopez isn't hitting open 3s and Nance is inept offensively. Put the right players around him that can score and spread the floor but can also be versatile with the ball once they receive it from Lonzo. Lopez and Nance are deadweights right now.

Magic, you got work to do.

Our offense is so painful to watch. Wait, didn't Magic say that he's bringing Showtime back? No movement, no one wants to or can shoot, every basket is a struggle.

The trade deadline can’t come soon enough. I love our kids and will be sad to see some of them moved but we need players that can make shots. We can’t continue to go 5 minutes and score 2 points. The increase in defense has been nice but you still need to score sometimes.

This season is starting to feel a lot like last year. We held it together for most of the first quarter of the season then hit a losing streak and just tanked.

And we haven't even been bitten yet by the bug that shall go unnamed. Those 4 or 5 wins we could have possibly had with more sensible winning with your best players lineups out of Luke would have been huge going into the month. Can't believe how much Luke is disappointing right now. This hurts.

I think the difference this year though is we won’t go into tank mode after we come out of December torn up. Last year we tanked for the pick, this year we have no pick. So we won’t be dumping anyone to make room for rookies to get minutes, I assume if we make trades it will be to get better right now, or maybe gain assets to try to dump Deng. Last season we were putting lineups out there in order to lose games on purpose, I can’t see that happening this season. We will lose a lot because we suck, but not for lack of trying. It does feel the same as last season though, and that freakin sucks.

Looking at the rest of the december schedule it's sad to see this slim playoff hope is gone again already. and this season the west looks (at least regarding the 8th spot) wide open ... we better get some impact summer.

And Lonzo. I don't know not easy for me to root for this guy. I hope he grows up and one day tells his dad to stfu. This whole stuff is just embarrassing right now and also not a good look for a organization like ours.

Ok that felt good to get it off the chest ;) ...

I agree. I know there are differences. But just the feeling is, "Damn. We're about 1/4th into the season and we might have a shot at the playoffs!" to "We're done. Back to moral victory territory."

yeah, we won't purposefully tank from january on, so that's good. i'd almost suggest luke start resting the youngsters a bit during this month. let's run deng out there. i want the young guys healthy to try and build something once games get winnable again. as it is, it looks like we're running kuz and ball into the ground, and i'm certain ingram will follow later. put them all on the randle minutes plan for now.

You say that as if he wasn’t the best coach we’ve had since PJ.

We knew the December schedule was brutal so the emphasis should have been on winning most " winnable" games as possible before this stretch .

It didn't look like it from the team preparation , Luke's rotations and post game comments .

He seems in no rush to win as many games as possible to have a successful 17 summer .

The FO and our coaching staff seem to be on different schedules .

The trade deadline will mainly be used to increase our cap space .

I think our roster will likely be worse.

The Lakers are becoming the Lakers again with this recent streak.

Sadly we lost too many winnable games against crap teams. Now we are losing the games we were supposed to lose anyway. But honestly, this team, once again just isn't that good.

We are dead last in 3 point shooting
We are dead last in FT % shooting
We are dead last in TOs

We aren't great at anything. We are pretty much aweful or average at most aspects of basketball.

i expected the 3 point problems (and seriously, management should have). the TOs are infuriating. i thought those were supposed to leave with russell...

All our problems were supposed to leave with Russell. Cause now we have a leader!
