    yikes. they won't be favored in a single one of those games. that seems highly statistically unlikely, even for a bad team.

    man, it's sort of crucial to sweep those, which is highly unlikely as well. in fact, the phx game tonight seems ominous. they've lost twice to the lakers, got mad at the end of last game, which was only a few days ago, and then got embarrassed on national tv last night. recipe for a motivated performance. don't like it.

    long story short, we may be looking at a stretch similar to this time last year, where all hopes are crushed.

    I think all of mine have already been crushed. I suppose there could be a little one running around somewhere hiding in a crack somewhere, but I can't find it.

    they've been more competitive than i thought they would be, thus far, actually. just would have been nicer to bank 2-3 more wins in the early going, seeing what's coming.

    you just don't want to lose the team psychologically in december, which is what happened last year.

    Frustrating loss tonight. They just never seemed to be totally in it, even when they made a few runs to come back at times. The defense just did not get the job done. You can't let a punk like Booker go off on you like that. 33 points? Unacceptable. Get him down to a reasonable number and you win that game. It was a one man show for the most part.

    yeah, don't look now, but the defense seems to be regressing. denver put up 146 points on NO last night. aren't they next? hold onto your butts.

    Being there, I can tell you the missed wide open Lopez 3s on several occasions when we had momentum and were close to tying the game and demoralizing them sucked the life out of the building and the team.
