Give the guy what he wants, bring back the 80s jersey as long as he wants it.

I'd love to trade for Jackson if we could convince him to just take the qualifying offer for next year. Apparently, he rejected a deal from OKC in the $48 million/4 years range because he thinks he's worth more than that. He's definitely not getting anywhere close to that this offseason. But if he came to LA and took the qualifying offer, he'd have plenty of opportunity to prove if he's as good as he thinks he is, and he'd become an unrestricted free agent in the summer where the salary cap goes up like crazy.

Who the hell is Liz Habib, why would Byron break some trade news to her, and why wouldn't any of the more legit sources have any info on this supposed trade yet?

I mean no discredit to whoever posted that, and I don't even want to discredit her. After I saw the tweet, I looked her up. Obviously, she's a legitimate news anchor but she's not affiliated with sports at all. If anything, I feel like Byron was just trolling her. Reportedly, Byron and some of the team pranked Jordan Hill today by saying that Mitch wanted to talk to him. If they were willing to mess with a player on the team like that (someone who actually has a decent chance at getting traded), then I definitely wouldn't put it past him to mess with some random reporter.

Less than 12 hours until the deadline. Let's hope Mitch breaks the magic wand out again. We haven't seen it for a while.

lol @ Suns... they put themselves in that position by signing two ball dominant point guards after Dragic had a career year. Now they want assets with no bargaining power whatsoever. Idiots.

You underestimate the power of the magic wand.

I too am cautiously excited about tomorrow's deadline. We're not really rumored for anything, but I still feel like something might happen.

I know its wishful thinking, but I feel like Mitch could pull off something that manages to make us more exciting to watch this year while maintaining the tank and bolstering our future.

We want Lawson(supposedly), you want Hibbert, Shaw wants George Hill(supposedly). If we pulled off a deal where we come away with Lawson & Hibbert that'd be very interesting.

    LAL: Lawson, Hibbert
    Den: George Hill, Kelly
    Indy: Dragic, Plumlee, Jordan Hill
Phx: Nash, Sacre, protection removed from 1st or Hou 1st, pick from Indy

Works in the trade checker. Gets the Lakers, Phx, Denver, KareemtheGreat33 what they want. Gives Indy an Allstar PG next to Paul George, Plumlee who they regret giving up, & an audition of Jordan Hill so they can decide if they want to pick up his option.

That's so nice but I wouldn't remove the top 5 protection for anything.

If he's moved and then bought out, I want Mitch to grab him. Huge fan of Air Bud. Wanted us to sign him before he got more than he's worth from Minny.

Cant believe we couldnt pull anything off. Atleast we already got picks for Lin. But possibly nobody wanted to give a 1st for Hill, and they thought maybe we can re-sign him for cheaper by not playing him as much after that expirement failed where it looked like they were showcasing him some.
