    Why even do this? I know it was pretty deflating when he got injured but now that we know he threatened to kill his ex-wife, why do we want to keep up the pretense that this guy is going to play for the Lakers?

    Like I said, it’s a goddamn travesty.

    I don’t advocate physical abuse of any kind, but I can’t help look at the guy’s off court history in that regard. Other than this being disgustingly worded verbal abuse, I pretty much see this as an empty threat based off the guy’s history. I mean I wouldn’t know how many life sentences I would be serving for the amount of verbal threats I slew at innocent bystanders in rush hour traffic. If I was ever taped unknowingly during my time in that atmosphere, forget Boogie, Zach would be ringing my bell for being some fake a** bully saying whatever to whomever from the discomforts of my steering wheel.

    The Lakers can distance themselves from Boog, but I hope they don’t till they find something more resolute than a tape recording. It would be a joke if they did... but what do I know.
