    it would kill chances at another max FA. i'm curious to see how things work out in that regard. say the team overperforms this year...how willing are guys to take temporary cuts to keep things together? how willing is management to trash a year of chemistry and system-building?

    Yeah, if all goes / grows well this year, then sign the second max guy and then extend Rondo and go over the cap at that point.

    Really interested to see how Zubac has developed. He's a big strong body who turned 21 this year. I think we'll be needing him this year for the team up North.

    I think the team up North (GSW) is the one team where I don't really want to see him. I think everyone is going to be surprised how well McGee can move his feet when switched out on the perimeter and has improved again in that area despite doing a great job in the playoffs last year. Especially against GSW after McGee goes to the bench I think we'll stay small at 5.

    Outside of GSW and maybe HOU I could see us using Zubac, but not a lot with those teams.
