Since yall are so concerned about the starting lineup...yeesh.

Let's see how the rotation/lineup look in May...

    closing games >>>>>> starting lineup

You guys do remember Lamar Odom going to the bench, yet closing games and helping with a chip, right?

Some of yall need to #MeloOut on that starter tip, for real...
    ;)

I don't care about the starting lineup.

What I want to see is that those that play well get consistent minutes. And I want to see that the best players get the most minutes.

I just hate when a coach has a man crush for a crappy player who steals minutes from someone who deserves it. If that is not the case, I'm fine.

I currently envision Hart to get 20-25 mpg....KCP 25-28 mpg...depending on their performance this can be adjusted.

The most interesting part is Rondo vs. Ball...how that plays out and how they perform. Kuz is obviously our 6th man and will get around 30 mpg I assume.

I hope LeBron stays somewhere around 34 mpg...same as Ingram.

had luke not implied that he'd start the best five players, i think there would be less consternation. if there was a competition for minutes in the preseason, kcp lost.

I read he was recovering from an injury that was broadcast.

    :Kuzmawhoknew:

Maybe he'll play better than we think.

    So did Rondo.

It doesn't matter really as the truth will become obvious at some point. The guys who should be starting (Lonzo and Hart) will move into those roles eventually. Kuzma is the interesting one. He was somewhere just above underwhelming given our expectations of him, but he's a starting caliber player who will have to adjust to the bench too. The difference being Ingram and LeBron are better than him so his path to starting is pretty limited.

You can't keep legitimate NBA starters on the bench forever. They will either push their way to the front, or they will leave in Free Agency. Hopefully he's good enough to force that type of decision in the future.

As a team with a lot of new players , you are probably going to start the 1st games slow , as a coach you want to start the much better defensive player to stay early in these games

Starting Rondo is a bad idea
