    Teams will spend on the wrong players. But I am pretty convinced that we won't. We have certain... target FAs we are interested in next summer, but I don't think Mitch is interested in overpaying role players anymore.

    The best part is we probably already are working on our backup plans. I'm plenty impressed with results this year, and can't wait to see what we do in the FA market after we've developed some of our talent.

    Link to the latest salaries for the Lakers: couple of thoughts. With the emergence of Nance, we can trade Bass. Bass, Young, Kelly, Sacre are all targets that could be traded after December, IMO. Metta, Tarik, and Huertas don't have contracts that become fully guaranteed until January 10th as well.
