The Legion season 2 finale was tonight..... Amazing!! Absolutely AMAZING!!!

I didn't know how they could bring it all together in one episode in the end but they did it brilliantly!!

So now I guess the Shadow King is going to be the only thing that can protect everyone in Division 3 while Carey creates a device to capture David, and I assume Potonomy plays a big part as well.

While I knew a lot of the Legion comic story, I didn't know how much they would follow. If they use the first two seasons of the show just to set up the true villain of the series.... David.... I will be truly in aw of this show. A f***ing masterpiece

No 2... this show is No 2 on my favorite current shows right now, only behind A Game of Thrones

    Finally caught up. Just incredible.

I feel like I have to watch this show 100 times to figure everything out.

So many questions I'll probably have most answered by watching a second time.

But I loved how they brought the whole thing back around to the egg with the seed of madness/corruption from earlier.

I'm also thinking the episode where we see all the possible futures for David will also come back around and play a big part in season 3

Yeah the long form storytelling is just incredible. They brought back elements of season one even.

So I'm thinking he's actually schizophrenic and the other Davids were his Id and Ego. What do you think?

I felt like the resolution between everyone else and Farouk was a little rushed, but I absolutely adore where they went with this.

I agree the resolution with Farouk was a bit rushed, but everything was so good I didn't really care too much.

I'm not sure what the other Davids represented, but I now need to re watch from season 1 and 2 to see if David exhibits different traits when hes wearing Orange, or Green, or Yellow shirts. The show seems to give little hints about things like that through color a lot.

Also I loved the beginning fight scene where David and Farouk are hovering through the air doing mental battle. It was a great way to represent it

Honestly, there are so many things I KNOW I'm missing. It seems like everything has meaning in the show.

This is totally off the top of my head, but I feel like yellow makes him more "confident" where they used to use that color to represent the Shadow King's influence. David was at his most powerful and frightening when he was confident because he's f***ing crazy and assumes he's right with or without consequence.

I liked the change to white at the end. He was talking about being clean and starting fresh and being "god" so he turned to a blank, white sheet color.

I didn't love Syd's turn either. It wasn't forced in my opinion, they'd been building it all year. I just felt like she should have tried harder to keep him with her. She should have been more angry about what she was seeing when Farouk was showing her all of David's bad side. Besides, watching with my wife I told her: if someone had kidnapped you and was holding you hostage and I got my hands on them, I might enjoy inflicting pain on them too. It's kind of BS to make that leap of "he's evil because he's enjoying killing a bad guy". But I guess the point is their relationship was fool's gold from the beginning?

Anyone else watching Luke Cage Season 2?

It's actually been really, really good. I wouldn't say it's Daredevil quality, but to me it's still a really good product. I think it's better by far than JJS2. I'd put it with DDS2, maybe a little above that even.

Is it good? My last two experiences with Luke Cage have been so underwhelming, I wasn't even planning on watching it. In all honesty, I really don't have much interest in that universe at all anymore. LC1, IF, Defenders, JJ2...the only thing that part of the universe has put out recently that was any good was Punisher.

Punisher was fantastic. I hope the second season can live up to that.

I'd put it squarely above all 4 series you mentioned. There's some hokey-ness, but it doesn't try to take itself too seriously at times which is helpful actually for the tone. The writing is 100% better in terms of character decision making. There's no weird switch from a "down to Earth" villain to a caricature.

I'd say if we're ranking them:

    DDS1/Punisher
JJS1/LC2 (depending on if you could get into JJ's themes, I know some couldn't)
    DDS2
    LC1/Defenders
    JJ2

    IF

Also Iron Fist appears in this one and he's better than he's been in any other show thus far. Still not perfect, but solid.

    Alright just finished the series.

It ends in a place I absolutely would never have expected. VERY interesting.

I’m on about episode 5 I think. It is way better than season 1 to me. I’m interested in how this all ends

It was a tall task to ask for Ant Man and The Wasp to follow up Infinity War but this was a decent self contained movie.

We finally end up with a really good Wasp. Ghost was interesting, she had a good performance but she felt like a throw in. Also please more Janet, she had 5 mins in the movie and was a total badass.

Michael Pena was awesome like he was in the first one. That other "villain" was meh and just felt like a throw in so the two heroes had guys to beat up. Watch him be the little behind the scene character in the other movies.

It was somewhat of a palette cleanser after Infinity War. Did a good job developing The Wasp and introducing Quantum stuff into the MCU. At least we're one movie closer to the next Avengers movie.

Agree with all of this. One thing I will say, with the way the MCU is starting to seem almost like a TV show that has only 3 ridiculously, highly-produced episodes a year, this movie was a filler episode. I enjoyed the movie. Don't get me wrong. But I'm not sure how big of an effect it will have on the overall MCU.

I think it will have a big effect with the MCU. I think the Quantum realm is where they find the answer to beating Thanos. Something involving the time vortex Janet told Scott to avoid.

Maybe, but I don't see how Scott gets out of the quantum realm now until it's been reversed. I'm assuming nobody knows he's in there except for those three that got "I don't feel so good"ed. Is someone going to walk up onto that roof and think, "I wonder what this lever does?"

Also, I watched Luke Cage. Liked it, didn't love it. Much better than Season 1 which was a dumpster fire after they killed Cottonmouth. I just hate Theo Rossi's weird overacting when he plays Shades. He's acting as if he's on stage in a play. I also have never liked Alfre Woodard. She always plays crazy, kooky Alfre Woodard in everything I've ever seen her in. She played strange crazy, not dangerous crazy like I would want so I could take the villain seriously. But I do like where they left it. Very interesting and pretty gutsy as long as they don't just reverse it after half an episode in season 3.

I think he get's sucked up into the time vortex that sends him into the future where he runs into an older Tony Stark? With AntMan2 and Captain Marvel being inbetween the two Avengers movies, I think they will play big parts in taking down Thanos, or at least reversing the effects of the snap.
