The cenimatograpy and 60s/70s aesthetic makes the show so distinct and interesting to me. Also all the crazy little hints and foreshadowing is fantastic. I’ve rewatched season 1 twice all the way through and some episodes a 3rd time. I catch new things that I didn’t get until later with each rewatch. It’s insane, Spoiler: Legion season 1 spoiler like something red in a scene showing the shadow king’s influence
Aaaahhhhh. My wife and I kept seeing the color over and over again without realizing what that meant. That's perfect. I'm going to blow her mind when I tell her that after she gets home from work.
Oh that's just scratching the surface. Check out this season 1 recap to really see how deep some of the hints and allusions are:
Wow that's amazing. My wife and I caught on almost all of those details, but weren't able to articulate what they meant. I really appreciate this guy's ability to research and go into detail. That's incredible. I definitely have to re-watch season one now.
For anyone who doesn't have the time to watch all 50 movies and needs a refresher before Infinity War comes out on Friday.
I literally said "oh no" when I saw what Venom looked like... Oh man... I can't even really... I don't know where to start... It's not a bad casting for Eddie Brock? I don't know. That's all I've got.
Yes the dialogue is just horrifyingly awful. It's somehow generic when trying to attack something different. This just looks so bad.
It looks like there's some half-way potential in this, but that the writers weren't good enough to figure it out. And the action sequences look bad as well. Half-*** production quality.
I absolutely loved Infinity War. Thanos is a fantastic, FANTASTIC villain. Granted, it's definitely a part 1 of 2, so they need to stick the landing on the second one.
Spoiler: It's not really a spoiler, so much as an opinion but I don't want to ruin anything for anyone The film makers said they were going for Empire Strikes Back of comic book movies and holy f***ing hell they nailed it. I can't believe it honestly. Leaving the theater I was stunned. There were kids genuinely crying and I couldn't blame them at all. Thanos is the new Vader and he was incredibly fleshed out for what the time they had on him. I want to see this movie again, but I also don't in some ways.
Mind blown. Chemistry between Tony and Strange and the one between Thor and Star Lord is freakin awesome. Will watch it again and again
Will watch this in less than 6 hours. And all I've been hearing including you guys are nothing but great stuff. Can't freaking wait
I made the mistake of watching this before work and now, no work is getting down and I need to put these ideas/thoughts down somewhere. I'm going to jump all over the place. Spoiler: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!vengers The biggest complaint about Marvel movies and comics is the lack of great villains compared to DC but wow was Thanos amazing. Yes we had years of minor development here and there but this was very much a Thanos movie and the heroes being the supporting characters. The dude (man) had his sunset ending! Also anyone feel like the kid Gamora we saw after the snap was actually Death? What I like especially was the stakes this movie laid down right from the beginning. "Oh why don't we throw Hulk at Thanos?" Well we saw why not, Hulk is a horrible boxer. Thor was never my favorite of the original Avengers, I always thought his movies were poorly done, but he freaking killed it in this movies. That entrance onto Wakanda was EPIC. That talk with Captain Rabbit was truely heartfelt, you really felt all of his lost. The pairings were great and the one liners between the huge cast of characters were some of the best. No character felt left out even though some where featured more for obvious reasons. You had a literal god paired with a bunch of mistfits. A group of scientists with a magician. The couple (still weird but works) of Vision and Wanda. Cap and his soldiers, you can tell they've been through s*** and about to get into more. As a comic book nerd, I just love seeing powers get used and how they look on the big screen as oppose to in ink on paper. These were such great fight sequences though the big army vs army fight in Wakanda seemed thrown in for the sake of having a huge battle. I love how powerful they made Scarlet Witch, her split blast was actually slowing down 5/6 stone Thanos. I love how the Earth group thought their plan of destroying the stone was going to work and finally seeing the true power Thanos had. I love Dr Strange giving up the time stone to save Iron Man, like he knew that would save the world because he saw it happen. All the deaths you thought were going to happen (Cap, Iron Man) didn't and in fact the main/original Avengers survived. And man those deaths really hurt, especially Spiderman's. And wtf, was not expecting a Red Skull appearance, I actually had to go look up his death cause I forgot what happened. In general all the acting was great, every character stayed true to their character. 10 years of build up led to an epic pay off. 2019 can't come soon enough. Can't wait to see Captain Marvel kick names and take a**.
