Venom and Morales Spiderman teaming up to take on Carnage. I hope there are some Sony Execs who are Laker fans lurking on this board.
I think there is an interesting dynamic to be had between a Brock who desperately wants to do right yet often goes way too far and is guilt ridden, and a fresh faced kid full of optimism trying to save the world. You could even do the clichéd story of Brock trying to hide the fact that he killed Peter from the world.
I think it's a great idea from a story perspective, but I think it'd be a mistake to do it in the movies. Do it on Netflix or HBO or a cable television provider. Not only do you get more time with the characters, but you avoid audience confusion. I'm still of the mind that if they make a Venom movie it'll be a mistake. Sony doesn't have a great track record and they finally seemed to get that with the MCU partnership, but I have no faith in them making their own Spider-verse decisions. Remember when they talked about doing an Aunt May spin-off movie? A Sinister Six movie without Spider-Man which was reworked to include Spider-Man alongside them as a partner? I mean... I just don't know what they do with all this...
So apparently Stan the Man blabbed about some new unknown/unseen character coming into the MCU with Avengers Infinity War. He apparently let it slip then was shushed by his assistant. So LB who do you think it's gonna be. My money is on Namor, but I am hoping for something like Sentry or even read some speculation that Beast could be in play, like Quicksilver he is both avenger and mutant. I was actually hoping for Fantastic Four. So we're all over the map, but I've looooooong wished for Namor.
He's been a long contended character. His solo or distribution rights are somewhere besides Marvel sort of like Hulk. I'd love if he were introduced. I've had sugar plum dreams of phase 4 being a Game of Thrones type fight between the Inhumans, Namor, Dr. Doom, and Black Panther where each of them try to carve out room for themselves in a crowded world. Meanwhile the real Mandarin is pulling strings in the background and of course other large threats exist as well. Still I want FF's rights back mostly for Galactus and Doom anyway.
I don't know how they'd be able to make him look non-silly, but anything involving the Infinity Gauntlet leads me to think about an appearance from the Silver Surfer.
Marvel just recently got his rights back. I think everyone is hoping they get FF back. To be honest, I think the FF make good supporting characters and could have a great dynamic, but I am really more excited about the FF villians. Doom, Galactus, surfer that gets me excited Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
I think there are already a few Fox characters that Marvel has back, but they aren't telling us yet. Fox did not have TV rights to do an X-Men show. But they have two going now. I highly doubt Marvel and Disney let Fox do those for free.
Also, how about Donald Glover making his first appearance? I think he's going to be a relative or maybe a teacher or something of Peter's and they'll just steal- oops I mean adapt- the Miles Morales storyline for a future movie where Glover is the Prowler and it's a rough family situation.
https://www.comicbookmovie.com/thor...e-some-major-new-additions-to-the-mcu-a151390 Could be Namor is in the MCU?... Could be just some props for a ride. The two aren't always connected.
That would be random to just throw in Beta Ray Bill and Namor. Those characters mean nothing to the average Disney fan so that's odd to think they would throw those in. With the post Infinity War MCU headed for the stars I can totally see Beta Ray Bill in its future. I wouldn't be surprised to see him hinted at in Thor 3. And we all know Namor would be a fantastic addition too... Hope this is all intentional baiting. Edit: For reference Plaque reads something about found at the bottom of the Terran Ocean, little is known about the culture that created them. And that is certainly stormbreaker.
so when are we getting Nova in the MCU? And apparently the New Mutants is going to be a horror flick? Is that for real or are they just messing with us?
