He'd make a pretty great Osborn, but I'm also sick of seeing Osborn vs. Spidey. He'd make a good Vulture or Mysterio... Kang is a cool villain he could do, but I don't know if Marvel has the rights to him.
After thinking about it, he would be best on a marvel show on Netflix. He could take some minor villian we have never heard of and make them kingpin level. Could you image scenes with him and D'Onofrio.
Cranston wanted them to make him a new villain, but I doubt Marvel goes that route. Too many classics that need to be addressed first. He could crush a role like Hammerhead easily so he could interact with D'Onorfio a lot, but you kind of waste him for a bigger role down the line.
I think they could take Mr. Fear and basically rebuild him from the ground up and place him in the defenders universe. Heck one of the Mr. Fears is name Larry Cranston....
Hulk may appear in the new Thor http://uproxx.com/movies/2015/10/thor-ragnarok-hulk-mark-ruffalo-avengers/
Cranston has given some more thought as to who he'd like to play http://uproxx.com/gammasquad/2015/10/bryan-cranston-mr-sinister-marvel-villain-nycc/
Seems hulk co-starring in a darkest mcu film yet Thor 3 is all but confirmed. Another big rumor is moonknight just might be in development for Netflix...
I heard it came mostly from El Maybe which isn't exactly inspiring, but Moon Knight would be an absolutely perfect fit for Netflix. Plus, it'd be great to see them go deep into mental health issues with the main character having three personalities.
I actually wonder if they stick with the Egyptian angle or try something different to fit the MCU better. Inhuman maybe?
I hope they dont start retconing all the supes with the inhuman card. It works great as a mutant substitute, but not as a catch all. If they are adding more magic via Strange and hopefully iron fist, I could see them doing that with T'Challa and Spector.
Yeah that's a good point. There was some magical elements in Daredevil and Iron Fist should blow that wide open. Maybe Moon Knight can jump in on that too. To be honest, I have no idea how they'd tackle his power set and origins. Really all I care about is getting into the psychoanalysis of it all. It would be really cool of Marvel to get ahead of a mental health issue.
If it happens I bet it looks like Elektra and punisher. Full blown character steps into series, possible origins via storyline, and if all goes well, stand alone series. Seems like Marvel/Netflix is working on its post Defenders story lines. Lots of rumors regarding Fallan Grey, and her daywalker daddy, introibg the punisher, and now possibly moon knight. Could get very dark and good.
Yeah I saw a post on reddit that had a great way to tease Moon Knight: have the various characters interact with the different personalities. Fisk speaking to Steven Grant, maybe Karen getting a cab ride from Lockley, and maybe Spector worked with Punisher on some black ops missions back in the day. You never really need to see the character's face in any of those interactions, they'd just be loosely thrown out there but you could connect them into the same person too. I'd love if Marvel just went all in on this side and started making a ton of Netflix movies. After the first season of both Luke Cage and Jessica Jones, they can share their own series. Daredevil really needs his own thing, but then you can spin off Punisher and add in Blade, Moon Knight, and even Ghost Rider. Netflix can be Marvel's dark side while the Avengers take care of all the pretty stuff. I'd love it.
More rumors... Fox announced its developing 2 xmen tv shows WITH Marvel Studios. Legion on FX iirc, and hellsomething on Fox. Or vice versa. Furthermore Fox is rumored to have traded FF and its side characters, doom, galactus, surfer ect to marvel for the help/rights... Doom, surfer, and Galactus in MCU...hell yes...
