Oh... I tuned in when we were up 3-0 I think the end of the 1st quarter.

"Hatred, violence and pain." - three key things emphasized by Pierce. Dramatic? Maybe. Effective? Hell to the yes!

They put hats on Patrick every chance they got. They were right on the line a few times. I was surprised the refs didn't flag us.

All the shows are about the Chiefs. Not a shock considering they have been the A+ standard of the league for so long and, lets be honest, have been the Daddy of the AFC West for over a decade. Its the easy narrative to go with than we came in and "did it" to them.

This kid is legit. I loved when AP got out on the field and got into him about losing his cool and letting the KC boys get him riled up. Besides that this kid is a damn hawk and his instincts for the game are so good. What a great pick up for us for sure.

    - We're three point dogs at Indy this weekend. Fearing a flat response or letdown after yesterday's win. I wish I was a reporter so I can ask Pierce and the players how do they guard against that.
    - Still surprised how we won with only 62 yards passing. Some elite QB's could get more yardage on one drive.

Pierce all year has said that he tells the guys they get a day and then they move on. Defense won't come out flat in indy. They are hungry for the playoffs. They going to come out like gangbusters (especially on D).

I have thoughts on the QB/offense hate going around about the kid but gotta go to work now. I will say this one thing that is getting overlooked.... KC Defense played pound for pound with our defense. Elite QB had 2 turnovers. "Career backup" had zero. The difference in the game? 2 turnovers.

The Swifties do have a stout defense but they broke down late in the game when White busted two long runs for first downs.

Alright let me re-rant about AOC and the narrative that he is a glorified backup and not, as many fans say, "the guy!"

Since the game I've been listening to the nation discuss the game against KC. Many are killing the offense for not doing much and, more specifically, AOC for not completing his last 10 passes over the course of the final 3 qtrs. I feel I can share my thoughts with you guys cause you guys speak intelligently about the game. I don't have to be right but damn what i'm hearing is wrong.

One thing I have not heard until yesterday from ALL the chatter in sports news and fans a like is about the chiefs defense. Their D is #2 (ive heard as low as #5) in the league. People are saying a better QB would of carved up them if given the opportunities AOC. The problem with that is that we saw a better (much better by stats, rings, history etc etc etc) QB on the other side of the field. The Raiders and Chiefs D both played amazing. The difference in the game? Like I said right after the game, was how each QB handled the pressure. AOC made good throws, some not great throws, some drops that would of moved the sticks and a couple times he held the ball a little too long. However, he didn't play reckless. He picked up most blitzes and with ALL those stunts/blitzes he (AOC) got sacked twice and lost only 14 yards. Against the #2 defense that blitz the hell out of the kid that is an amazing efficient play. He went 9-21 in the game which isn't great but in that he didn't force the game. Would a former #4 do that? In contrast, Patrick was sacked 4 times and was 28-45 BUT he had 2 turnovers trying to do too much. He should of had 2 more the one overturned on the line and the one Amik missed.

Now, I am not saying AOC did the best game ever. BUT I am saying this dude is calm, poised and he did what the coaching staff needed him to do. I think the offensive line didn't give him enough time but they did get great push for the running game. Coaches went with that because it was working. Trust in the D and not lose it on offense. I thought if we got down we could of opened up the aerial game.

I think AOC can be the dude. I also think he still has a lot to prove in forms of performance and taking a game over. It is easy to knock his game against the Chargers because, as people want to say, the chargers quit on the team. Still it isn't easy throwing 4 TDs against an NFL team and being a major part in 63 point murder. Some of the criticism is warranted but some of it is over the top and truthfully just lazy.

In the end, it is amazing to me how in one breath we can praise or defense for playing their a**es off while ignoring their defense did the same thing yet our young rookie stood in the fire long enough to keep our RB able to get those holes.

    Alright, rant over lol

doesn't get better than saying "look at the tape." The dude is legit. Love hearing him talk about the game, the players and his vision. Nothing fake about AP.

Russell Wilson getting the Derek Carr treatment in Denver? Supposedly being benched the last two games.

Jacobs trying to protect himself? Pierce did say he wanted to play Sunday. Wondering if he will be with the team next season.

IMO, I don't think Renfrow will be back. Adams, Meyers, Tucker could be our main trio moving forward unless Adams is traded.

Penalties killing the Raiders. Pushed them back when they moved down inside the 25. Settled for a FG. Started their next drive with a false start. Had to punt.

Defense getting it going. Even on that first (td) drive, they had a third down. Just blew coverage.

Another false start - this time on fourth down. Not sure if they were going for it, but they ended up punting.

You can't dominate the play count, the time of possession, and still lose.

8 straight wins against the Broncos? I'll take it.

I think the Raiders end with 1 more point scored than allowed.

    Much better team post-McDaniels.
    I'm on board with AP.

And AoC? Last 4 games: 8 TDs, 0 INTs, 3-1 record. Way to turn it around, rook!
