Some thoughts on personnel. From least controversial to most controversial.

    1. Drop Tillery. I don't think you can have guys like him on squad. We lose out on some money, but that's it.
    2. Trade a 5th or 6th (rumored asking price) for Chase Claypool. He's dissatisfied and he's bad for his team, but he could take the roof off defenses for us at a bargain price right now.
    3. Trade Adams. I don't know what the asking price is, and we'd be a much worse team without him. But we're not going anywhere with him except possibly getting him hurt. We could cut cap, pick up at least a first, and tank a little as a result and get an even better pick while our young QB figures things out.

    What do you think?

    - I'd like Claypool. Him and O'Connell could build our new duo if it can be arranged.
    - the Adams proposal is tempting.

Jury is still out on McDaniels and I'm on that panel. I still think the Bisaccia should have been given another chance.

    Claypool and a 7th for a 6th rounder? Jeez.

Tonight will be the right time to turn this season around. Jimmy is back I believe it his is last chance to prove he is the one to lead the team.

McDaniels’s team really isn’t clicking just yet. Some play calls that they just can’t pull off. But I like the ideas.

    14 plays, 62 yards, 8:28 drive. Huge.

Inability to block anyone means the Raiders inherit amazing field position and can't do jack s***. Carlson gives them 3.

    10-3.

Gotta hand it to the defense tonight. They're mostly controlling the LOS in the run game and are getting pressure on nearly every pass attempt.

I don’t know Jimmy G’s game. Is he incredibly unlucky this year or what? Seven ints in less than 4 games? And they’re killer.

Big plays from the defense. Sack. Good coverage. Int.

    That was an uneven game.

    - three takeaways...?
    - offense trying to figure itself out.
    - no long ball at all.
    - Jacobs still trying to find his footing.
    - Carlson was not his usual reliable self.
    - Pats next.
    - NO such thing as winnable games.

The running game is heading in the right direction. The defense is heading in the right direction. Special teams were bad, almost exclusively because of Carlson. Bummer for him.

That meeting between Crosby and Bisacchia postgame was touching. What could have been had he been retained. Sigh...

Dominant in Time of Possession. 125 yards gained to -2. Yet it's 3-0 after the first Q.

Raiders start out the second strong, move to 10-0.

Offense keeps sputtering. No rushing game, and they can't do anything without Jacobs in there. Damn.

Even a dreadful New England team is dangerous when coached by BB. They're looking to double up the Raiders here with a last-possession/first-possession drive.

Bill Belichick is a great coach. Amazing adjustments. Patriots smash the Raiders all the way down the field for a TD to start the second half.

Huge throw from Hoyer, big catch by the rookie Tucker. LV needed that.
