    Ruggs is a fast dude.

    Carr is dialed in.

    Defense doing its part!

not sure i approve of the just run and run and run to walk the clock down.... playing "prevent" offense sucks to me

20 carries for 30 yards isn't going to get it done unless you're almost perfect in the passing game.

Agreed. They need only one TD and a FG to win. Ben can do that.

This loose D is also a problem. Steelers on the move.

Hope this is only cramps. Hayward is probably our best DB. Oh, it's definitely cramps.

2:09 on that scoring drive. Raiders need to move the sticks.

The D makes more sense than what we did on O. They are making Pit use the clock and not get big plays.

They get the fg and we get the ball. We have to get some first downs and make them use that time out this game will be over

I like these play calls better... mix it up... one more good play make pit take their timeout and then we can hatch it

Good push from the o-line it looked. Nice work from Barber who just signed with the team a few days ago.

Actually, they signed Barber about 15 days ago. I thought he was only on the practice squad. Maybe I'm misremembering.

    OFFENSE

    OL
Leatherwood is taking his lumps. Another poor showing, gave up a strip sack, committed a penalty (or two?), and ended up injured. Miller committed another penalty or two. This group is going to have to keep working and come together. Incognito can't come back soon enough, but he also can't be rushed.

    RBs
Tough game with not much running room. We're fortunate to have Drake. He hasn't run well, but he has 10 receptions and 105 yards already. Jacobs has to shake this injury bug.

    Receivers
Renfrow was really elusive today. Big catches from him. At least two third down conversions. Waller was really quiet early, but the other guys stepped up. Edwards nearly had a TD. He breaks tackles. Love watching him with the ball. Moreau got involved in the offense for real. I think he gave up a sack in pass protection. Good to see Snead build some confidence with a nice first down catch. Great to see Ruggs come alive. Huge reception on 2nd and 9. Gruden absolutely loved his 61 yard bomb.

    QB
Carr has looked pretty great. Ran well, threw well, and was cool as a cucumber.

    DEFENSE
    Front
It's such a breath of fresh air to have a consistent pass rush. Lots of respect to Bradley, Marinelli, and the new acquisitions. Hankins with a sack!

    LBs
Missed tackles, especially by Littleton. I think he missed the tackle on Smith-Schuster's TD run, too.

    DBs
Mullen with solid coverage and a big INT. He did get burned on a long pass later. Abram got tossed by Harris. Heyward broke up a near TD pass. Arnette shows up only once - to get burned and then not ensure that Claypool was down. Really bad look. Leavitt may have made a game-preserving hit on Claypool. Drilled him to jar the ball loose on third and 10.

    SPECIALS
    Carlson early MVP?

    Receivers through two weeks...

Renfrow 77.8 PFF Grade, 92.4 Passer Rating When Targeted (16-127)
    Zay Jones 74.5, 158.3 (2-46-1)
    Edwards 71.4, 118.7 (8-121)
    Ruggs 67.5, 130.6 (12-159-1)
    Snead 57.0, 33.3 (2-14-INT)

The two young guys are doing work.

Once defenses are bracketing and doubling Waller, Carr has to show trust and give them a chance.

Like but not like. The LBs were soft a bit, and the DBs had a couple missed tackles, too, in week 2. I'll say this: Bradley's guys are almost always in the right place at least. And that's a huge improvement from last season.
