Jabari doesn't seem like a high character guy...pass.

His attitude seems to be somewhat of an issue. He also doesn't bring the "upward" trajectory that you would want from a developing player. Jabari seems like he has regressed the last 2 years.

Anyway, I wish him good luck. Just don't want him on the Lakers. Except for attitude he doesn't have the ball handlung and passing to be a combo guard...and for a SG he lacks size, his shot is la la and his defense too.

Well, JaBari does have tattoos, so he's obviously a low character guy.

I think both guys' NBA careers speak for themselves. They're both young - 24 and 25 - one can't shoot or pass, but he can rebound. The other one can shoot and can sort of pass. I think it's honestly very clear that Brown's the better player here.

Neither is the savior you're looking for, if you're looking for a savior.

Jeff Ayres can shoot and isn't a bad rebounder.
Orlando Johnson had a decent rookie season, hasn't played much since.
Hairston can't do much of anything.
Johnny O'Bryant can't do much of anything.
Travis Wear screams Ryan Kelly. Maybe worse.
N'diaye is an intriguing prospect - what 7'6, 300# dude isn't - but we've seen him already. I don't think he can help us.

He's not a good passer, but he's the same height but heavier than Clarkson.

Xavier before his injury seemed significantly better than anything we've seen from Jabari.

Pending deal or cutting of Nick?

I just went to look for a rocky clip where he says "Cut me Mick, cut me" and of course, use it for Nick.

Instead I found this spoof lol

I know that's a story Lakers fans tell, but I'm not sure what the evidence is.

Good. May not be an NBA talent, according to Rydjorker, but he's every bit the player Sacre was - and he's cheaper.

I liked the hustle I saw out of Auguste in summer camp. I was rooting for him.

That one game, pre-season or at start of the season against the Clippers he was awesome! 26 points or so if I recall against those Jerks.

If Auguste is signed for anything more than a camp invite somebody has to go, because he makes 16. I like what I saw of him though, if he did get a 1 year partially guaranteed deal from us I'd be ok with it, even if I think we are a little more thin/injury prone/old at guard and don't need more bigs. Still, low risk signing. I assume Nick would have to go though

    Russ/Calderon/Huertas
    Clarkson/Lou
    Deng/Ingram/Brown
    Randle/Nance/Black/Auguste
    Mozgov/Yi/Zubac

    That's 15, not counting Young.

That was the rumor I posted. Nick gone. Trade or release (which always means a buyout when it's a guaranteed player we are talking about).

The impression I'm getting is that Nick Young has no chance of returning to the Lakers.

I think Auguste probably can only get a non-guaranteed, make good sort of contract but he deserves one. The problem is we're suddenly flux with big men: Mozgov, Randle, Nance Jr., Yi, Black, and Zubac. That's not to mention small ball lineups that might have Deng or even Ingram at the four.

We could use another SG/SF type instead of another PF and yet we're going to let a SG/SF to pickup a PF.
