He's a guy that I think got the most out of his physical abilities through hard word. LFL

Don't forget his three in Game 7! It was to tie the game and we never let it go after that.

I'm sure the Lakers told him they weren't signing him then. He had a pretty awful showing in Summer League after a really great audition the year before. Good luck to him. He can do some NBA level things, but not consistently enough.

My two favorite memories of Fish have been the series against Boston and those two huge shots against Orlando in the previous Finals. Obviously he hit plenty of big shots in other championship runs, but those two are the most memorable. Also there was one against Utah in 2010 I believe where him and Kobe traded big shots which was great after classless reception he got from fans. Only reason I don't put 04 up there is because it left a bad taste in my mouth after losing in the 04 Finals. God losing in the Finals is the worst. It's like losing in the Super Bowl. Horrible, horrible feeling.

.4 was more memorable to me than orl series even with the finals lost. Those orl shots were great but i dont think any of us had any doubts we were gona win that series no matter what. But that bos ser. layup gave me same feeling as .4

He should not embarass himself and come back. What a nightmare.

I've gone on record with my friends and family that despite how we Finished the 2004 season losing in the Finals, Fisher's 0.4 shot against the Spurs is my favorite Lakers game winning shot of all time.

There have been better shots made, but considering that series, how Lakers fans emotions changed so drastically in a span of minutes with our hearts broken one moment (Duncan fadaway shot over Shaq) to complete euphoria. That one shot won us the series and put us in prime position to win the championship. We went back to LA for Game 6 guns blazing and took care of business.

Does anyone know what's up with Lance Stephenson? He was decent last year, but no one wants to sign him?

Not sure what's going on there.

    Must be a head case.

I brought him up a while back, would love someone with his talents here as a back up 2 but he seems like a head case.

Just read an article that says he's likely to play overseas. He's worn out his welcome in the NBA. Too much baggage and not enough production at this point.

I've never heard of specifics though, so it's a little puzzling.

Well lance did say cha didnt treat him like a star thats why he failed there....so he must really think highlyof himself. Clipps were devoid of swing man talent and still got rid of him 1st chance they got. I know my matt barnes idea was rejected and debated but even with his long history of playing for different team he still liked enough to get a contract as oppose to lance who is younger and more talented

That Laker team was 20-4 at one point then Scot Williams happened. Still pisses me off to this day...

On topic: Stephenson blew his opportunity... He thought he was better than he really was.

Is that the guy that landed on Karl Malone's leg?

We were missing Horace Grant and Karl Malone in the playoffs. That was brutal.

lance stephenson might as well get started on his downward spiral towards prison. he doesn't get it, and i don't think he's going to have a stephen jackson type renaissance.

Well at least we kept those bastards from winning another championship especially at our expense. The C Bags will always be our biggest rival of course, but the Spurs are definitely second at least for me. If it wasn't for them Kobe/Shaq would've won four in a row and who knows maybe never broken up.

Stephenson is a fool. If he would use his immense talent, he could easily make more than 100 mio. in his career, even as a mediocre NBA player these days. Too bad he will now only make about 5-10 mio. overseas.
