To be fair, he was traded right? Ainge blew things up and sent him to the Nets.

The disease of Shaq and Kobe started all this horse****. WHo'd TEAM IS IT?!! Blah blah blah. You didnt see this in the 80s with the C Bags and lakers and pistons. Or in the 90s with Jordan and Pippen. This crap all started with Shaq and Penny, then it went to Kobe and Shaq and it put a permanent cancer on all and everyone who plays now. If you do not win with the team you started with and not win in your prime, by yourself, you are a ring chaser. Make up your minds aholes. All this time its "athletes only care about money" Then when they want to win, they leave and now they are coattailing it. Make up your damn minds hypocrites.

Really? Not even with Magic and Kareem? I think that that's where it was first a legit question in my lifetime, and that was WAY early in my lifetime.

No, never heard that in the 80s. The only thing that happen was the transition from "1st option" when Pat Riley spoke with Kareem about making the team more Magicsentric. Kareem, being the ultimate team player, signed off on it. It was after the Lakers had lost to the Rockets in 86. And the rest is history. Magic won 3 of the next 4 MVP's and wins back to back titles.

Lebron won a title in Cleveland. His job is done. He doesn't have to win a title again. However, if he beats GS next year in the Finals, it might be better to never come out of the basement until the Lakers win. Because the ball washing would be unbearable.

Lol for real. Carmelo gets killed for choosing to stay in New York and people call him a loser and not caring about winning because of it. Now they hate kd for basically ensuring a trip to finals.

Knicks just rescinded their QO to Langston Galloway.

He's a pretty solid young player. I'd be all about adding him as a backup PG.

I could see Bass taking the Warriors 2.9 exception. He is such a solid guy. Would fit well there.

I know most if not all of us are on the same page with this but another reason why we do not trade any of our young pieces for Westbrook or any star is because they are all at the perfect age that we avoid this window of GSW dominance for the next 4-5 years. By that time all our guys will be just in their prime.

Lakers must over achieve next year. If the Lakers can compete, Westbrook could be the difference maker.

Sure it matters. It's a big difference doing it at the end of your career versus in your prime. Same thing GP and the Mailman did. Same thing Barkley and Pippen. Yeah Pierce may have gone somewhere to try and win, but you really think he'd do what Durant did? It's one thing to leave, but to join a team that was on the brink of a title and had a historic season. That's another.

Ultimately I don't blame Durant. It's a great opportunity for him. He's a great player, but he hasn't won and there was no guarantee he'd ever win in Oklahoma City. The Warriors give him the best chance to win and I can't fault him for it, but I can totally understand why people are upset.

Man that's a huge steal for the Dubs at that price. Got a competent center to go along with the Durant signing. Wow.

I could see them filling out there roster with a mix bag of

    SG - Barbosa, Terry, Sasha
SF- Mike Miller, Tayshaun, Dorell Wright
PF - Haslem, Lee, David West
    C - Amare, Kaman, Birdman

Dudes that have 1-2 years left in the league without hardware or some that just chasing rings could go there. Alex Kennedy tweeted out a lot of vets were thinking about going to the Dubs on vet min deals. I mean if you are at the stage of your career as those guys above, why not? If you are going to ride the pine and play spot minutes, might as well do it on a guaranteed NBA Finals team.
