I think if Durant wins the Finals MVP, people wouldn't hold it against him.

I'll be the first to say it GS is a fluke. Lakers were one of their 9 losses. Once the league figures out the way to get under curry skin - it's over

I think KD had some serious talks with mamba to prepare him for this moment. I predict he gives okc 1 more year. They are even more loaded than last year and could have / should have beat warriors last year. He knows this.

I want this to happen so lakers can prove they are a viable place for kd and Westbrook to get their chips together

    Pipe. You bet.

I think Lou is primed for a big season this year. He's a great fit for us off the bench. Above all, he's low maintenance. He quietly goes about his business and does his job which I like.

Yes that's the question??? Considering he can do the 1 plus 1 contract instead with the (probably improved?) Thunder lineup for at least one more season and then sign a GINORMOUS new contract in next year's free agency.

There's always room on a team for a guy who can create fouls too. Underrated quality. Harden has built a career off of it.

I actually agree with this on some level. I think they need Durant more than people think

I'm really late to this, but I'd take Seth Curry, probably comes cheap, can really shoot. As far as Durant and the warriors, I don't think less of him at all if he goes. They need a SF, he wants a ring. Nobody hates on the 80's Lakers and C Bags for being stacked. Magic, Kareem, Worthy, Scott, Green, Cooper, Thompson, all averaged double figures.

I wouldn't say the Warriors were a fluke, but they need some more talent still to be the dynasty they want to be. Durant could be that.

I think Pau would also help them win a ring.

Which is why I posed the question- KD might jam up things for them

Remember how they lusted after d12 only to 'end up' with bogut

Remember how the series changed when bogut knee injury happened - to quote jagger : you can't always get what you want..

I'd rather have the lakers roster right now than C Bags without Durant

There you go. If Bill I-hate-the-Lakers-with-all-my-heart-and-soul Simmons (trusting Banners's find here without actually reading the linked article yet myself) passes along an opinion for national media that...... Lakers did "Good"..... how many left out there still feel we have done mediocre or worse, or totally screwed the pooch..... with the FA moves?

Curry would make a decent point guard if that is his position? Those 1980's teams you mentioned were built via the draft before free agency and savvy trades...not the buddy-buddy climate of today. I agree with you about Durant taking that option. James did it so...

Simmons did'nt write it. It was Jonathan Tjarks on the Ringer...no idea who that is. But Simmons put it up on Twitter.
