yes I think FO should get the boot but lets consider the fact NYK is paying a 32yr old Noah 18mill for 4yrs as well, this guy has missed at least 20+/gm every season for the last 3-4yrs.

like i told my buds last nite who were tryin to sell me on Mozgov; if you have to pause and think when i ask 'is he really better than Hibbert', chances are it wasnt that great of a move

the only positive i see is maybe Shaw recommended him? liked what he saw in Denver?

worse comes to worse, he sucks and we see more Zubac?

    that's all i got

No we're not. The only ones laughing are ESPN talking heads that don't know anything about basketball.

Respectable guys like David Aldridge and Woj like the deal and think it's a fine move.

I'm not saying it's a great move and I'm not saying those guys DON'T need to be fired, but I'm also not overreacting to the deal. It's a decent deal.

Yeah, the same "analysts" laughing at us are the same ones that want us to trade D'Angelo.

Mosgov defends better, but he's not exactly a defensive stud. He doesn't defend $6 million (more) a year better.

Soon we are going to start getting:

    Mosgov: Cancer of the Lung
    Al: Cancer of the Liver

    See! Mosgov is better!

Well said. The only part I disagree about is that Mozgov won't fit the pace. If Bogut fits GS's pace, I don't see why Mozgov won't fit here. Mozgov is more mobile than Bogut and a better pick-and-roll player.

Your greater point about the narrative is 100% accurate though. No matter what happens, the optics aren't great. The only way to change that is to get on the court and since that's not happening any time soon, the Lakers are going to be punching bags for a few months.

I would pass, he doesn't seem like the type to take a back seat to anyone, not sure he'd gel with Russ. He seems to have that thinks he's better than he is attitude, not a good defender from what I remember.

I would take Sessions absolutely. I was down on him when we were a title contending team for his playoff performance, but for this team I think he'd be the perfect type. Vet, really solid backup.

Sessions could be a Barbosa type.

John Wall was b****ing about Reggie Jackson's contract last year. Now I want to hear what he thinks about these crazy signings.

Bogut is a better defender no question but cannot finish shots near the rim and from what I see his scoring is usually off lobs. Mozgov can nail the short shot on face ups or a back to the basket move. Let's not even discuss the free throw % disparity... In order to for Mozgov to keep up with our pace, he'll probably be asked to shed some pounds...

To be honest, I would like to have Horford but that probably was not going to happen...

Horford was my dream... Then I woke up and there was Mozgov. Oh well.

IF Por gets Parsons/Howard, I think we should make an offer to Myles Leonard. He'd be a solid backup C, ala Speights. 3pt shooting C. I think 3 yrs 27 mill might prevent Por from matching.

Yeah, actually it's at least a $6 million difference on D considering Al plays no D.
