    There's no way anyone is going to convince me that I should be okay that Mozgov is going to be our major free agent acquisition. That I'm dumb for ever expecting the possibility of anyone better than him. That Mozgov at 30 years old, who Cleveland reporters are shocked about this deal based on how his play last year declined following injury, is a good enough starting center that he helps improve our team enough to become respectable for next year's free agent class.

    Zubac could've put up 6 points and 4 boards for Cleveland last year.

    5.8 minutes played per game in the playoffs. Averaged 1.2 points and 1.6 rebounds. Yes. 65 million for that.

    Whiteside has upside, but he can also be a disaster.. The stories about him are funny, sad and alarming. Hes not a bright guy.

    dude sooooo many people have pointed out that A LOT of GMs were concerned about giving Whiteside a long term contract. it's very likely that we are one of those teams. I wanted Whiteside but he is a serious risk.

    I'm fine with Mosgov.. $$ means nothing right now & we don't know the terms of the deal..
    Lakers probably knew that Whiteside, Horford, Noah & Biyombo weren't attainable.. So they decided to fulfill a need so they could take their
    remaining $45-50 Mil to go after a solid Wing Player...

    We don't know how much is guaranteed. Can't complain until we know that. Btw, if we get BB, too, we have a really cool center rotation. Just add vet wing.

    The only good team Mozgov got significant minutes on a good team is the Cavs and he ended up losing his starting spot and played with the best player in the league.

    If Black outplays Mozgov, the we would have wasted $65M (if that is the final number).

    We have no idea that Mozgov is our big free agent get, he's just our first. He's on a slightly overpaid contract, but it's really not as bad as it's being made out to be. It's roughly equivalent to an 11.2 million dollar deal. Overpay a bit, but not insanely overpaid especially in this market.

    For comparison Noah just got 4/72 million.

    Only way you make up for this is if you get DD and Parsons or something within that combination. Otherwise, this doesnt make a lick of sense.

    I am pretty sure him not cracking the rotation is a function of the coach. He was also there last year and was pretty good.

    He won't prevent us from getting a star down the road and in fact down the road his contract will look even better I guarantee you. I know it's tough right now, but let's wait a minute before we pull the sky down on top of ourselves.

    At the end of his deal at about 17 million will be again roughly 11.2 million after the second salary cap jump next season. We don't even know if Mozgov is our starting Center yet he just is for right now.
