I'm still convinced the only reason Kobe tore his Achilles is because my evil cousin wished that Curry would get injured earlier that game.

I know there's quite a few people who like Greg Monroe, he just doesn't fit the type of center we need, the Bucks are getting rid of him for that reason.

Someone on LG said Tom Penn said we still have a solid shot at Whiteside.

Man f*** free agency. I am so done with all these rumors.

Update on those we're rumored to have something to do with...

    Alan Anderson
    6'6" SF/SG
    34 years old
    Projected FG%: 39.5%
    Projected 3pt%: 33.25%
    Projected FT%: 76.5%
    Projected PTS+AST+REB: 9.5
    Potency (pts+ast+reb/36): 18.4
    Projected Offensive Impact: -0.8
    Projected Defensive Impact: -1.2
    Projected Value over Replacement: 0.1
Verdict: In 2014-15, he was a good defender. If he's coming to be a backup and play 5-10 minutes per game, okay, I guess. Made $4M last season.

    Tarik Black
    6'9" C/PF
    25 years old
    Projected FG%: 56%
    Projected 3pt%: 0%
    Projected FT%: 48%
    Projected PTS+AST+REB: 9.9
    Potency (pts+ast+reb/36): 22.7
    Projected Offensive Impact: -3.5
    Projected Defensive Impact: 0.2
    Projected Value over Replacement: -0.1
Verdict: I don't mind Black returning. He's young, works hard, and could be a good boost on offense and a good PnR man - especially deep on the pine.

    Jordan Clarkson
    6'5" G
    24 years old
    Projected FG%: 44%
    Projected 3pt%: 33.6%
    Projected FT%: 81.4%
    Projected PTS+AST+REB: 20.5
    Potency (pts+ast+reb/36): 25.3
    Projected Offensive Impact: 0.9
    Projected Defensive Impact: -1.8
    Projected Value over Replacement: 0.6
Verdict: JC is a perfectly adequate sixth man, borderline starting G. And he's only 24 this season. He should be back with LA.

    Moe Harkless
    6'9" SF
    23 years old
    Projected FG%: 46%
    Projected 3pt%: 28%
    Projected FT%: 58%
    Projected PTS+AST+REB: 9.7
    Potency (pts+ast+reb/36): 18.2
    Projected Offensive Impact: -1.1
    Projected Defensive Impact: 0.4
    Projected Value over Replacement: 0.6
Verdict: Harkless is another good option as a sixth man, but he's not a starter. He really cannot shoot outside 3' from the basket. Terrifyingly bad in that aspect, but he does other things well: rebounds and defends. Wouldn't be a bad add as a backup.

    Jon Leuer
    6'10" PF/C
    27
    Projected FG%: 48%
    Projected 3pt%: 37%
    Projected FT%: 74%
    Projected PTS+AST+REB: 12.1
    Potency (pts+ast+reb/36): 26.0
    Projected Offensive Impact: -1.6
    Projected Defensive Impact: -0.1
    Projected Value over Replacement: 0.1
Verdict: Leuer is a replacement level player. He's not a starter, but he's not a bad player. Would be a decent stretch 4 off the pine.

    Chandler Parsons
He's legit. I'll do more later on him.

    Derrick Williams
    6'8" PF/SF
    25 years old
    Projected FG%: 44%
    Projected 3pt%: 28%
    Projected FT%: 73%
    Projected PTS+AST+REB: 12.9
    Potency (pts+ast+reb/36): 24.0
    Projected Offensive Impact: -0.7
    Projected Defensive Impact: -2.0
    Projected Value over Replacement: -0.3
Verdict: Williams is an obvious bench layer. Can't shoot the three, but he can hit up to 16'. Can't defend. Might still have room to grow. Did he opt out of a PO worth 5m?

True, but at this point people are just looking at any center.

How? I'd go over there and find out but they hate anyone with opposing social views.

Ramona said she's heard Biyombo also an option. Thank goodness. I'd rather have him than Zeller.

Tyler Zeller? Lol, if what, Black gets PAID and Zubac can't join this season? He's a backup backup C. Also, Bazemore does zero for me, could have had him years ago and now we're talking about an 11/12 and 5 player for 18 mil per? Madness. Bazemore makes Parsons' max seem reasonable.

Don't see the problem with Bazemore. He's a very solid starting two guard for us. Decent shooter, terrific perimeter defender, everyone is getting overpaid. Beggars can't be choosers.

That's partly the problem. You're listening to Tom Penn. Besides working the touch screen for ESPN, I don't take much of what he says seriously.

I don't know maybe he talked to someone like Stein who said the Lakers are still in it. Yes I'm grasping for straws I know.

Agree to disagree. I'm not giving Bazemore 18+ mil. I'd rather try to get Ariza somehow if that was an option, cheaper and better.

He's a decent option as a backup Center but I'm sure the Lakers thought they'd be bigger players this summer. Getting turned down by Durant? Okay I get it. Whiteside etc? Shameful.

Zeller is probably a depth piece they were considering.

Momo just said Biz Marky is an option. And they get paid for this?

Call him ask him what will it take to get it done, and then get it done. Not kidding.
