Whoever is doing the personnel decision making about free agents is the complete opposite of our scouting department. Result: total wash...

Portland is getting first crack at it with Damien Lillard. If Chandler wants to win, and they offer the max, he's going to Portland. If lifestyle and money are more important to him, he's coming to Los Angeles.

The media loves to kick us when we're down... We'll do a Draymond Green swing or leg kick on some of them when we get back up.

The fact that the top players won't grant Lakers a meeting is upsetting enough, but what really sucks is that it gives the media more ammunition to dump on us some more. Last two years were warranted, but now it's getting old and it needs to stop. That's why I was hoping so much for the likes of Whiteside. But now I'm not expecting anybody to give us serious consideration. We'll sign someone, but not expecting much.

...then to hell with them and I sure hope they don't get that ring. Once they're old and discarded, they can kiss our purple and gold a** when we get back to winning again. Same goes with the clownbags in the media.

Batum has stated all along that he wants to stay with Charlotte...

    Yes.

It's been pretty clear: if they give him 5 year max he's staying. If they give him less than that, he'll listen to other offers. It's the same deal DeRozan is doing in Toronto. Both of them are very likely to stay.

Yes. I've been having technical difficulties on this website all day. What he is saying is this: Batum's first meeting at midnight is with the Charlotte Hornets. If the Hornets offer him the max ($26 million) , then Batum will re-sign. Charlotte knew he would me a max guy in this salary cap environment, so he can't imagine why Charlotte would be unwilling to give Batum the max deal.

If Toronto gives DD max or close, I hope we go after Biyombo. He's my third choice in the Centers category and looking like he might be the only one to actually be a possibility right now?
