    ^Parsons will achieve more notoriety with us than those teams listed...nothing against those fine cities. I hope he shaves some of his asking price so we can sign another free agent of some caliber.

    i think if the lakers show parsons the money early, he's in. i'd do it. he's not all you dream of at that price point, but dammit, he's a legit nba starter.

    this surprises me. i had miami as HEAVY favorites a while back, and once it became clear that things weren't hunky dory there, i thought the lakers would be a frontrunner. i'll be curious to see what is said about the choice when it's done. whiteside seems like a weird cat.

    I have to laugh, it's that or cry lol. I don't even want Parsons (for max), but if he's even considering us he's probably the best player to be reported to be doing so. So F it, bring on Parsons, unless Ariza or Iggy are possible dump pickups, I dunno. But yeah, earlier in the year it was Derozan and Whiteside would be nice, now it's us begging for Parsons and Biyombo. We are definitely desperate.

    Yes and he's ATHLETIC. Maybe not as athletic as pre surgery, but he's still the best athlete we've had at that position since Trevor Ariza.

    blazers have some of their own FAs to deal with, too. if they beat us to anyone, we should pick at their remains. e.g., max to parsons means crabbe might be available if you're willing to pay.
