I drop in this thread every time it is updated just to get my jollies at the revulsion it elicits. I dig you guys anyway...
Rattlesnakes that like to swim in the ocean are kinda special. http://www.newsobserver.com/news/weird/article174006211.html (but Mangoworms in a dog's scrotum ..... awwww man) And NOOOO I did not watch that clip.
I ran across a sea snake in low tide here in Kenya, and at first I thought my eyes deceived me. I didn't think there were salt water snakes, but a quick search confirms there are. But huge rattlesnakes in the ocean? Wow!!! Not much of a freakier thing that I've seen than a 8-10' snake diving down quickly in clear fresh river water to hide among the rocks. Just the motion can give you the willies.
Have had fresh water aquariums in the past and they're a nice vibe if well done with interesting fish. Was just picturing what a warm conversation piece a salt water tank full of these guys in any den would be. Not to mention putting your hands in periodically to re-arrange rocks, clean algae off the glass and other maintenance the filter can't take care of.
The most disturbing thing about that video wasn’t the worms to me, it was the doctors (or vet?) laughing and joking the entire time.
Yeah, is that coming from a human? How in the world do you not get a stomach ache from 1 of those things? I get a stomach ache from eating Taco Bell.
