I've never bought a jersey before, so 2 questions: 1. What size should a 6'1 180lb guy wear? 2. Do you really have to pay $150-$250 for a quality jersey? I don't care if it's an exact NBA jersey, as long as it's not poor quality. I’m about the same build, a medium should fit fine. If you want a more fitted look, small could work too. Go to the mall and just try any Nike jersey to get a feel for them. The swingmans usually run $110 USD. They are perfectly fine, not cheap looking. Authentics are $200+.
I know we’re the Lakers and we tend to keep things “classic”, but I want something more modern and new. Nothing cheesy like “The City” or “The Land”. Maybe “Los Angeles” with in some cool typography. Maybe have a silhouette of downtown or like a beach win palm trees. Color scheme for the downtown could be a black and gold fade or the sunset could be purple and gold fade.
Do you think that link is trash? $49 sounds too good to be true. Can you get good jerseys outside of NBA store, lakers store, or lids?
I personally wouldn’t. Jerseys are never that low unless they are the cheap replicas or knockoffs. And the fit could be completely different. I would just buy it from the Nike Store directly. And yes, that’s a fake link. Don’t use that.

if it was up to me i wouldn't touch the jerseys at all (aside from fixing the terrible job nike did with the names on the back) but if they are making changes i hope they do something reminiscent of the showtime era look just as long as they keep the home jerseys gold and the roads purple
