But the gold stripes bordering the narrow black side panel and their slight jog to set off chest area are cool IMO. LOL .... RIP the "T-shirt" Unis from Byron and DLO and Julius's teams. I hated them at first and then actually came to like a couple of them over time. Better off gone though.
I actually thought they looked pretty clean. That royal purple was ominous, like we were about to do something really bad. Look, I'm all for keeping that "classic" look, but it's also time for a change or two, like when we introduced the Sunday Whites.
I see I’m in the minority on the purple jerseys, I really liked them. In photos I didn’t like them at first, but seeing them in action I thought they looked good. The black stripe takes some getting used to, but it’s not so crazy that it takes away from the tradition of the uniform to me. I actually like these better than our bright yellow ones, which are still too yellow for me. Might have helped seeing those friggin horrible purple Orlando Magic looking monstrosities though.
All these other jerseys look pretty damn sweet IMO, and ours look like s***, hideous. Who designed that horrible thing? Philly’s and GS’s looks freakin clean, ours looks a purple throwback Orlando Magic jersey.
Oh. There's those fugly Orlando striped purple uniforms. Warriors's are cool looking. Who the hell signs off in the FO for the weird colors last year and that crappy looking striped version?
with our gold jersey we could easily make a better "royal chinese" theme than GSW, I dont know our team wont cater to that market, we're one of the biggest draws out there in the asian community.
WMC Can't we just go back to the traditional "gold" at home, purple away and white on Sundays? I'd throw the occasional black in too cause they look really nice.

Yeah. I thought I liked them at first even with the black insets on the sides but now 2nd time around last night not so much.
As bad as I think those Purple and black panel jerseys are, we're 2-0 in them so keep them coming I guess.
wonder if we could've done this tor styled jersey, purple in front, white or gold on the back instead of the black.....
I actually like the Purple with the Black panel.. I didn't like the pictures either when they were first announced, but they look good on the court.
I'll agree that they do look better on TV and in person then they do in the pictures we saw over the off-season.
